Room sizePosted Sep 28, 2015
Lovely hotel, great location, super friendly staff, great decor. The room was very small, would recommend 504 for single person. Would stay again if assured of a larger room!

Great location!Posted Sep 28, 2015
Wonderful front desk staff! Unfortunately, I did not realize until I was unpacked & checked my reservation, that I had not been given the deluxe room I had reserved. The front desk was notified & it was rectified the next day. The bed & pillows were great although the duvet cover was a little heavy for September, perhaps something a little lighter during the warmer months would be better. Loved the magnified mirror in the bathroom. Everything was clean although during the stay, carpet wasn't vacuumed - just some crumbs left after a morning protein bar gave me the clue. The bed platform extended about 4-5 inches beyond the end corners/foot of the bed & were quite a hazard during night bathroom trips. Overall it was a very good experience. My first trip to Boston & I hope to be back!

Tourist hotel near Boston GardenPosted Sep 26, 2015
Pros: Staff. Good breakfast. Good bed. Clean
Location: A little off-the-beaten-track but close to the Boston Garden so there are restaurants, esp. excellent Tip Tap Room
The hotel seems to mostly serve tourists, even though it is somewhat away from main tourist areas (except perhaps the Freedom Trail). For a business traveler the Internet was slow and WiFi spotty. It was better in the lobby than in the room. My room was a good size but since it is an older building the layout was somewhat idiosyncratic with the desk jammed in a corner that had to be squeezed past to get to one side of the bed. The staff were eager to please and a relatively minor fault -- laundry arrived late -- was corrected by writing off the charge without even asking.

Stylish and convenientPosted Aug 28, 2015
Pros: It offered a chic, comfortable setting in a unique building.
Cons: It would've been nice not to have to pay an extra fee for the valet service.
Location: An easy walk to Boston Public Market, Faneuil Hall, North End and Beacon Hill.
The room was very nicely appointed. The bed was really comfortable. The desk staff was especially friendly and helpful.

Lovely staffPosted Aug 28, 2015
Pros: The staff
Cons: I was a little uninspired by the breakfast menu, however we had breakfast in our room so I didn't see the full buffet offered in the dining room.
Location: The location of the hotel is right next to Little Italy and about a ten minute walk to Quincy Market. Lots to do in this area!
The Boxer is a nice hotel in a good location in Boston city centre. Every member of staff we met were well presented and spoke to us in a very lovely tone and manner. They were polite, attentive and went out of there way to ensure we were comfortable and well looked after. Our room was nice and comfortable with a modern finish and was very clean. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort in the city centre.

nettes zentral gelegenes HotelPosted Aug 23, 2015
Pros: Personal, zentral
Cons: Etwas mehr Stauraum
Location: Zentral, Unternehmungen s.

Center of EverythingPosted Aug 23, 2015
You can beat this hotel for being in the center of everything Boston. Walking distance to the Commons, Government Center, Quincy Market, North End, etc. Since the reno, it is a very modern place to stay. Rooms are a little small but very comfortable and the bathrooms are clean with all the amenities. Staff goes out of their way to make your stay a very pleasant one. We will be back.
