Great property for our visit to Northeastern University. It was an easy taxi ride to the airport and an easy walk or subway ride to campus. Great shopping and dining across the street, and the hotel stored our luggage until our departure in the evening.

LOCATION: very convenient, across from Prudential center and Green E Line, walking distance to Back Bay HOTEL ROOMS: rooms are fairly spacious for Boston, good amenities, equipped with minifrigs DINING: many food options a short distance from hotel - including an Eataly in the Prudential center VALUE: for the location, the Colonnade is one of the best value options

This is 2nd time staying here and hotel continues to deliver excellent service. Staff are very friendly especially Norman, doorman who was very accommodating and arranged taxi and recommendations to suit each individual. Room extremely clean and spacious. Clean Hotel very central directly across from prudential centre where there are wide selection of shops and eating places. Would stay here again when next planning trip to Boston.

There was a bloody handprint on the second room we moved to after being placed in our first room that was 900 degrees and smelled like cigarette smoke. There was hair in the bathroom, no menus for room service, and streaming access for airplay on phones to tv did not work. i had stayed here five years ago with my daughter and loved it which was the only reason I came back. It was a really disappointing stay.

Our bathroom door didn’t close. We called the front desk as soon as we arrived in the room, they said they’d send someone immediately, no one showed up. We waited 2 hours and then left for our event. The next day we called again and they said “didn’t someone come yesterday?” This time someone came, and we had to wait around to move rooms. The new room had hair in the bathtub and sink. We didn’t report that because we needed to get ready for our next event. Not a great experience overall.

There were some happenings over the weekend so hotel was full and room location less than stellar. Room staff friendly and robes and laundry bags brought to the room after a request. Last time we stayed was better so maybe just an off weekend. Manager was responsive to my review and offered a gesture to make up for the issues we had.
