    We would have given the property five stars *except* that they gave us a room knowing that there would be construction on the pipes in that part of the buildling (hence our very low rate) without informing us that this would be the case. As such, we were unable to brush our teeth, shower/bathe, wash our hair, etc. because the water coming out of the spigots was coffee-brown. We told the staff downstairs and they were very nice, but were like, "opps" but did not offer us any credit for a future stay, etc. I gave the water to my dog to drink before I realized it was brown and 24 hrs later, he was sick. So he stayed free, but is still sick as I write this... not worth it. Hotel a bit awkwardly positioned in the middle of several busy streets -- it's about an 8 minute walk to the park or good shopping, and valet parking was crazy expensive with no self-parking option. But overall, if not for the water and the indifference of the staff to our very real problem, the property would get a five.

    The staff was extremely accommodating and friendly. The view from our room was spectacular, so much so that we were tempted to not even leave the room. Will stay here every time I’m in Boston.

    Slow Valet & Expensive Parking

    Great location; indoor walkway to Copley Square Mall & Prudential Center; 7 elevators so we never had to wait for an evelator; room was very clean and well kept; parking is a premium everywhere in Boston; $65/day to park (not $55 as on Hotels.com) but be prepared to wait a long time for your vehicle; the first morning we waited 25mins, along with the family who text ahead for their car; 2nd day we waited 15 mins; 3rd day we waited 20 mins; in the evening when we returned to the hotel, I was checking with a family member for a tip for valet because I only had large bills; the valet walked across the busy driveway and approached me with his hand out for a tip. I handed him the money and he walked back to my car. They need more people parking the vehicles or include the tip in the $65/day it costs to park the vehicle
