Decent hotel but not much nearby

The hotel is fine and comfortable but far away from anything in Paris or train station. I would stay downtown next. Room was pretty good and comfortable. Hallway on 3rd floor could use some updating. Staff was very nice

Home for me once a month

I stayed at the Holiday inn for 2 nights. On the first night, there was a leak in the bathroom. All the carpet was wet and it started to smell a bit. But the staff was great and put me in a brand new bedroom the next day - one of the new ones. Breakfast is good amd plenty to choose from. Food for dinner is good quality too and they offer room service. Really convenient for me as I travel on my own and don't like going down to the restaurant to have dinner for 1. Location isn't the best for tourists but for business is great. Only 5 mins to the office. Really convenient too as I have to visit once a month.

Reception and restaurant staff were great - friendly and very helpful. Unfortunately when we asked if the drinks on tap were lager or beer, we were asked "what's the difference?" in a really condescending way - we didn't drink in the bar again. Breakfasts were tasty but the dinner was limited in choice and only average - we only ate there once. Beds were very comfortable and rooms very dark and quiet.

Good hotel for stopping off

Pros: Location
Cons: Hot night and the air con was not very efficient
Location: Could get into Paris easily on the train or bus
We were en route so it was a stop off. Not much to do in the hotel but take a walk into Bougival and there are some nice places to eat. Breakfast included was ok, spoilt but part of a large Japenese tour party who were particularly rude to the staff.

Don't expect to get to Versailles very easily!

Pros: The bathroom/shower; staff were friendly if a bit unclear on how to get places. Good food at the restaurant.
Cons: A shuttle to Versailles!!!!
Location: Bougival is charming. St Germain en Laye is nearby and has lots of dining options.
This is a nice hotel in a charming little town outside of Paris. The facilities are clean, and there is a nice (if a bit costly) restaurant in the hotel. The shower/bath is excellent, and the staff are friendly and speak English well. However, two things detract a bit from the experience. The first is minor. Breakfast is 18 euros per person, with no offering for a light breakfast. We had to walk into town. There was a great bakery though, as long as you speak at least a little French. The bigger issue is that the hotel does NOT offer a shuttle to Versailles. You can take a cab (40-50 euros...one way!) or a series of buses. A hotel that has Versailles in the name should have an easier way to visit the chateau. We actually got lost trying to get there and ended up taking the RER instead of a bus that would have been easier. We took a cab back (50 euros, due to traffic!). Getting to CDG was pretty easy, though. ORLY is NOT easy, however. ORLY to the hotel is probably an hour and a half! Hotel to CDG was probably 45 minutes. Again, though, the hotel itself is very nice. It's just not the best option if your goal is to visit the palace!

Perfect stay when visiting friends

Nice room in the new part of the hotel. Price was very reasonable. Disappointed to find the parking was now chargeable but to be fair this was waived.
