"We stayed in a teepee. We used both the heater and the air conditioner during our stay. The nightly campfire kept us warm. We enjoyed the exercise equipment & the hot tub while simultaneously gazing at the magestical mountain view. The Pioneer Kitchen offered a fresh seafood selection. The Rim Rock restaurant accross the street provided an excellent steak & burger selection. The bathroom was spacious & properly vented. The bathroom provided all shower/bathing necessities along with makeup removal products. The Horseback rides & Llama walks were on the property adjacent to Capitol Reef Resorts. I highly recommend both. We did the 6 hour Jeep Safari ride to Temple of the Sun & Temple of the Moon. The tour included curbside pickup and drop off as well as nutritious snacks & bottled water. Half of the roads were unpaved and inaccessible by car. I highly recommend the 6 hour Jeep Safari Tour. The Conestoga Wagons at Capitol Reef Resorts are wonderful as well. The entire staff was very welcoming, professional, accomodating, and gave us suggestions on nearby activities. Capitol Reef Resorts met & exceeded our expectations. "The covered wagon experience is cool and worked for our short visit. It was a bit warm during our stay even with the AC at night and an eye mask is a must for the early morning sun. The beds were comfy enough and the private bathroom was very nice and clean. "

Even Las Vegas resorts could use a week of training here on true customer service. Well done and it's so pleasing to know this old school way of serving folks still exists."
