Nice motel in Boulder

We stayed for one night in this motel. Very, very nice for being a motel and the base camp theme was very original and cute! Very large comfy bed. I would stay here again

Cool hotel in a great location

This was a terrific hotel within walking distance to pearl street. The rooms were cleverly decorated in keeping with Boulder's reputation as a launchpad for outdoor activities. Our children loved the rock climbing wall and table tennis. Our booking included breakfast however when we went to the breakfast room we were told we could purchase breakfast for an additional amount. The breakfast staff member was disinterested and unhelpful however the prior day the (different) staff at checkin was delightful and friendly.

Converted motel with exterior room entrance. Quirky setup appealing to hikers/skiers/athletes. Not for the indoor amenities seeker.

Nice Surprises!

Pros: Free cookies, trail mix, oatmeal, and coffee/tea/water, super nice spa area, lounge with ping ping and rock climbing.
Location: Right near b-cycle station to get the mile or two downtown. Next to the college area.
We booked this room as a Quality Inn and Suites. It ended up with a name change and a nice makeover! Apparently, Expedia did not submit the reservation, but the front desk clerk Juliana got us sorted and hooked us up with a suite!

Great location and warm, friendly staff.

Staff is helpful! From using their computer to making spot-on recommendations, they were very happy to help. The place is located ideally for a walk to Pearl Street or U. Of C, Boulder. Our kids enjoyed the play room with its ping pong table and climbing wall.

Nice hotel in middle of Boulder

Pros: friendly staff clean rooms
Location: the location is great near center of town and is a fear walking distance to many places.
We had a good, comfy stay. its in the middle of Boulder and every thing is near. we liked the cleanness and the friendly smiley faces. do recommend the hotel for every one .

Very nice, clean hotel with everything you need to check out Boulder. No frills but still very nice accommodations with a very friendly staff. Would definitely stay again!

Stay at Basecamp Boulder July 2016

The hotel had changed it's name since we booked it. I had mistaken the price they charged and thought it was for 2 nights. Although the staff were pleasant, it is basically a motel and we paid more to stay here than we did for a 4 star hotel in Manitou Springs. The room was dark and although it had been refurbished we had no where to relax other than the bed. If it had been differently priced it would have been OK but I will not be returning.

One of Boulder's best kept secrets. For the price you get everything you need. Customer service was so-so as they were just not great at the basics in being welcoming. Asking them for water in their great lounge was painful and the nightshift/AM guy on 7.11 was not really in to solving anyone's problems. But all I needed was a clean, quiet inexpensive room central to campus and Pearl street and not new friends. All is good.
