A last resort

A total drag. For starters, when booking sites allow search options like "onsite pool" they shouldn't allow hotels to advertise a pool just because they have "partnered" with a property that allows guests to use their pool- that's shady & leads to disappointment. But in fact, I put off writing this review because I didn't know where to start describing my disappointment. The property next door has their block under construction- so that was an ugly mess. The front desk is under-staffed so check in isn't going to be any fun (& a pitcher of "fruit water" stands empty). The rooms are small & basic, not what you would expect for 250$ a night. The carpet is trashed- doesn't need to be cleaned, needs to be replaced! They don't offer a fridge or a microwave. No reading light by the bed or USB port on the sun beaten desk. OH & the bathtub has been painted but that paint is now wearing off, so one can see hairs & things that aren't actually there. The absence of a USB port lead to a dead phone situation & thus I was unable to photo document the dirty carpet/sad room situation.... The best part of our stay was the parking garage, it was cool and spacious. I appreciated the close proximity to Sprouts & the toy store across the back parking lot was a joy to shop in.

To all those reading this reply please know that our pool is currently down for reconstruction and will be for several more weeks. We are getting ready to undergo a full rooms redo and the pool was where the owners decided to start. We always want to provide the highest level of service so an alternative is in place if you desire a pool - we have passes to a local rec center and we are eager to oblige if this is your preference.

Pros: receptionist was very nice
I was double charged. once expedia and by the boulder Marriott. I received a credit from Marriott which was $12 short. expedia made up the difference. this took a week or more for the credit which caused an overdraft in my checking acct.

Great location

This hotel is in a great location. We had a beautiful view of the Flat Irons. The staff ( Hanna and Tasha) were very nice and helpful.

Miss Leading

I made my reservation at this hotel because it allowed my family of 5 to stay in one room. The description from the hotel said 2 queen beds with room for a rollaway or crib at no additional charge. When we checked in and requested the rollaway we were told that they were not allowed in our room due to fire codes. The rooms have not been updated in quite a while so sleeping on the floor on the dirty old carpet was not a highlight of our trip.

Good Afternoon Kelly: Than you for taking the time to write us about your recent stay. I do siincerely apologize about the misunderstanding but hope that this will help others in the future. Though our hotel does offer rollaways on a first come first serve basis, Kelly is right to say that we can only put them in rooms with one King sized bed. Putting them in a room with 2 existing beds cause for blocked access/egress. This is why the fire codes do not allow it. It is never our intention to mislead put our guest safety is always paramount.

Stayed there to take a shuttle to Red Rocks

We wanted to go to a concert and this was about a mile or less from the shuttle. The room was clean and the only thing I didn't care for was the love seat in our room. It looked very used. Everything was great.

We were surprised for the rate of the room, there wasn't a little refrigerator, and there was only one wash cloth stocked in the bathroom, had to request more. We had three people in our room. We didn't eat at the hotel,but The Buff located across from the hotel has wonderful breakfast! Didn't see a pool or hot tub at the hotel either. Would be nice to have.

Thank you for your comments. The hotel does not have a hot tub at this location. As for the pool, it is currently under renovation and will not be available until early next year.

How does this happen?

Arrived, walked into the room and there was only 1 king for 4 of us. They had no other room available. They comp'd the room and said they would have a roll-away ready for us and that the couch was a pull out. I agreed and asked that they have the beds ready for us when we got back from a wedding reception. Upon your return to the room at midnight we noticed that there were no sheets, no blankets or pillows for either of the beds. 90 min later - 1:30AM sheets, pillows and blankets arrived. Not a very good experience.

Good Morning Paul. Thank you for allowing me to address this issue. We try hard to honor all reservations as they are made. Unfortunately in your case, the reservation was made as a King with a request to upgrade to 2 queens if it became available. Due to the sell out weekend in Boulder we were not able to change your room type. I did everything I could but in the end I took it upon myself to comp the room to try and make you happy.

Nice hotel close to everything.

Cons: The iron was ready for retirement and the ironing board was broken (but it was quickly replaced when the hotel was notified).
Location: Visit UC campus, and walking distance to lots of shopping and variety of restaurants.
We were travelling with family for a campus tour at University of Colorado. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Beds were really comfortable and we were given plenty of water. The lounge was modern, comfortable, open, and provided an assortment of games and pool table. Great experience.

Accommodating me at the last minute!

Last minute reservation and I'm so happy to have found this hotel. Check in to check out was great! Friendly and helpful staff. Room was perfect, comfortable and clean! Would definitely stay at this location again! I've already recommended it to co-workers. Thanks for everything.
