Fallen from grace

This hotel was the place to be in the 1980's but now has fallen into a dismal state. The rates are high and the quality is low. The rooms are missing high end amenities including: microwave, fridge, safe and pay per view, but even the basics such as a hotel guide, body lotion, a wall mirror and even drawers, yes you read that right... no drawers!
Beyond the disappointment of the rooms, the hallways were dingy with peeling wallpaper, the bar was a mix of random out of date furniture in one corner, with a concrete floor and an unfinished ceiling. The restaurant was small and served only breakfast. There was no store for snacks and/or sundries and with no bellman, the distance from the lobby to the rooms in the "sports" wing was insurmountable. Front desk staff were rude and thoughtless. The fact that this hotel is part of the Millennium family of hotels is shocking, disappointing and and frankly, false advertising!!!
