Room was comfortable but small. Spa facilities were great. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Short 5 minute downhill walk to the beach. About 30 minute stroll to Bournemouth. Shame buses don't run after about 7pm. Really enjoyed the stay.
Fine position above Boscombe Chine with gardens at the rear The Hotel is well appointed in every way. Halwpful and caring staff. Breakfast spoilt by COOL hot food .and parking of cars is haphazard. All in all a good place to stay.
My brother (who has special needs) and I stayed in a junior suite on the 3rd floor for 2 nights only. It had a double aspect and the views in the morning and evening were delightful. The room was quiet and the beds were very comfortable. We used the pool and the staff in the spa kindly helped my ...
our second visit to the hotel the hotel is good quality, the food is second to none and would definitely use the hotel again, the only niggle we had was the attention to detail with the room housekeeping e.g forgetting bath mats, a drinks glass ring on the bathroom shelve that was not caused by us ...

We went as a group of mature married woman for a show on at the Pavilion. We had a fantastic time with the hotel taking get good care of us. Would not hesitate to recommend.
good first impression on entering the building, but got the feeling staff didn't want to interact as there was a self serve check in. highlight of the stay - leisure facilities.
prime position near beach, nice room ,pleasant staff £20 parking seems dear until you compare with other car parks and the inconvenience .Past Victorian splendour gone slightly sad with age ,but short of spending many millions ,what can yo do ? overall a pleasant stay.
Very nice hotel, we liked the decor and the staff were excellent. Next to 2 other hotels in their group so facilities were shared. Food excellent with a fantastic 2 for 1 offer on mains. Only problems were a poor shower (low pressure) and limited parking. Would definitely go again Jennifer ...

I have just returned from a very enjoyable stay at the Washington House Hotel while my son & I visited Bournemouth Uni. I loved the style of the furnishings, the comfy beds, excellent choice of continental breakfast, free parking, ease of walk to the city centre & beach. But above all the high light ...
4 minute drive from the station, close to the beach and not a long walk into Bournemouth town. Bathroom was a little cosy and did not look the cleanest but otherwise a nice room.
Lovely place with wonderful history. Excellent staff and menu. Close to all the facilities in Bournemouth and good parking on site. Very comfy bed and nice room, The King's Room looked amazing for those who want to pay extra for a really special occasion. Thoroughly recommend this little gem.
Lovely hotel, staff polite and helpful. Hotel close to sea and town, although up very steep hill. Rooms clean and comfortable. Unfortunately lots of noise at night from groups of people returning to other hotels. Will use this hotel again.
