"We and friends (total 4 adults) stayed five nights in the Old Winery/A House on the Loue. And it is: perhaps 30 meter walk from the river wall, with views from the apartment. Pictures are accurate -- the apartments are fully and engagingly decorated, baths are large and functional, and the kitchen is modern and mostly complete, with the use of the lovely gardens. Vuillafans is a small (and shrinking) village a lovely 30 minute drive S. of the Departmental capital of Besancon, with a small...

"DON’T BOOK!!! The host cancelled the stay 2 hours before checkin after I had already landed in Vegas on the busiest weekend with all other hotels booked. I had to book another hotel & pay nearly quadruple what I would normally have paid. And then they refused to answer to refund the stay for days. $1300+."

"Excellent welcome from receptionist/waitress. Clean room with all basic needs met for an overnght stay with good bed and pillows. Well lit room. Some noise from next room. Poor choice in restaurant. No dishes of the day and no entrecote at 7 pm, which was the only appealing dish. Snall portion of sausage with 2 boiled potatoes and slice of ham with chips very overpriced, as was the wine.Very disappointed.. Breakfast selection also poor value at €14,50. Very safe large car park.. Convenient for access from Motorway.. fast foid restaurants and supermarket bearby."
