Cons: Breakfast was a little less than desirable. Biscuits were extremely hard, sausage was rubbery, and no water was available to drink.
Room was acceptably furnished, reasonably clean. Find somewhere else for breakfast though.

The basics were all good.

Pros: Better price than inflated pricing of area hotels. We were just driving through, so we should have picked a different stop.
Cons: Needs updating. Put in an elevator. The exterior dors on some rooms didn't seem safe to me, but people worried about easy egress might like that.
Location: Seems to be plenty to do. Corvette Museum, caves. We were just driving through though.
We stayed here on a cross country drive, not vacation. Baymont was better priced than the competition. Needs updating but has that Starmont comfortable bedding and room was clean. Amenities were just bars of soap. Breakfast was biscuits sausage & gravy, waffle making, sweet oatmeal or flavored grits packets. (Definitely Southern leaning.) There was also cold cereal, yogurt, juices, and perhaps hard boiled eggs. Not the fruit and plain oatmeal and plain eggs we were hoping for. Staff was nice, desk steered us to a non-chain restaurant, and put us on first floor because my 93 year old mom would have struggled with stairs. (No elevator.)

Room ok Breakfast Meh

Room was OK and clean. When we asked about the advertised pool and hut tub we were informed they were out of order. Walking down the hallway, we noticed the coin operated washing machine had an out of order sign on it as well. The hot breakfast was typical of all basic hotels. The only problem is that it was not being replenished at all. Then when breakfast was over we watched the desk staff go thru and shut everything off which in itself wasn’t a problem, but the casual way they were throwing leftover bagels in a bag with no gloves made me glad I hadn’t eaten a bagel that morning. Those leftover touched bagels were , I think, being saved for the next day.

Needs Upgraded

Room large and clean. No ventilation. Worked but no air movement. Could hear entire conversation in room next to us. Had to use white noise to overpower room noise.

Staff was confused

Pros: Good location.
Cons: Everything. Overpriced for the room and lack of amenities. Staff needs to be trained and have working equipment. Seedy looking bar behind the hotel
All of the hotels in the area were booked except this one and now we know why. Pool was "closed until further notice", but no mention of this at the front desk upon check in. 3 people were at the front desk, but only 1 computer was working so they could only check in 1 person at a time and couldn't get that right. The couple in front of us had a pre-paid reservation and they charged their card again. The staff couldn't understand that so the guest had to show them their credit card charge record to get them to investigate. Once they figured out that this was accurate, they told him the charge couldn't be credited until Monday. I was next in line and a 2nd staff member tried to log in to the other computer. He kept listening to the phone calls the 3rd person was taking and kept answering questions and taking the phone from her and not checking us in. Another guest came up and was taken care of by the 1st staff member while I continued to stand there waiting that's when they told me the 2nd computer wasn't working. All the info I got was that the room was down the hall and breakfast was 7-9. The room seemed clean and the beds were fine. Bathroom had patches on the drywall and paint splatters everywhere. TV cables weren't connected correctly so we had to change them to get the remote to work. In the morning, there was 1 person working the desk and filling the breakfast items so someone was always waiting for 1 or the other thing to get done.

This is a huge drama review, I have no desire of reading this, my time is more valuable than your complaints. Go stay at a Marriott or Hilton property next time.

Decent for price

Hotel was fantastic. Clean and quiet. Internet service was terrible. Unable to do anything online and did not get better the whole time I was there.

Nice, clean hotel at decent price

We enjoyed our stay. The staff was friendly, rooms were clean. There is a very nice little bar at the end of the parking lot if you're interested in having a night cap. The only down side, my husband came down for breakfast one morning and said the gravy was really bad.
