Nice Place to StayPosted Oct 16, 2015
Pros: Comfortable bed, clean room, staff, air conditioning, clean, good towels, great pillows.
Cons: More regular coffee in the room, glass instead of plastic cups, clean shower curtains, more television channels available, water, snacks available.
Location: Great location with nearby places to eat.
The staff was so helpful and friendly. The A/C, which is very important to me, was excellent. The bed was comfortable, and the room itself was clean. The bathroom shower curtain had mold on the bottom inside, and that bothered me. Also, there were no bottles of water or any snacks located in the room, and that was disappointing. They only leave one packet for regular coffee and one for decaffeinated. I drink two regular coffees, so that was no fun. They do, however, provide free coffee all the time in the dining area, but it's inconvenient to have to leave your room before you're even dressed if you want more than one cup. The plastic cups, as opposed to glass, was inconvenient because you can't stand your toothbrush up in them. The television had very few channels, the fewest I've seen in any hotel in which I have stayed. Still, I would stay there again just because the staff went out of their way to be nice and accommodating.

The "arcade" was not as advertised. It was small and with outdated machines. Also, there were limited number of pack n plays available so when we requested one at 6pm they were all gone. Check in was at 3pm. The staff offered me a broken pack n play!

Pros: New and clean accommodations.
Location: Monmouth Cave and local shopping within a 15 minute drive.
Was visiting relatives in Glasgow and the hotel provided a nice in between distance. We visited the caves and shops in the area also.

We had several issues with our card key (every time) and we found bugs in our room a few times - When we brought it to the staff's attention we were dismissed with "they are common to the area and there's nothing we can do about it

Geesh!Posted Aug 15, 2015 on Hotels
Very dated facility. Minimal towels provided. Shower curtain dirty. Wished we had stayed at Mammoth Cave hotel. Shower was tricky to implement - had to get desk lady to come show how to use. Water pressure was abysmal!!! Excuse was: "I have nearly a full house tonight!" We were glad to leave early due to our schedule requirements.

The hotel was not bad but it was starting to show some wear. The key cards had to be reprogrammed a couple of times, the shower head had some problems, the mattress was sagging a bit. Things such as that. Nothing major but given that yours was the most expensive stay in the area I expected more. We stayed last week in a Comfort Inn in Northern Kentucky and it was much cheaper and much better maintained.
