The big nice motel

It was a nice hotel but staff was very rude .great breakfast the and really quite.

Just off the highway.

Pros: good location, good breakfast
Cons: cleanliness, hotel staff knowing what they are doing and telling guests. Having pool area and fitness center stocked and cleaned occasionallly.
I was dissapointed with this motel. I was in a good location right off the highway and a good stopping point for our trip from florida to michigan. When we choose a motel we need a free breakfast, workout room and pool. When we arrive I asked about their workout room hours. I was told it was a 24 hour availability. When I went to work out in the morning it was locked and the gal at the desk was either unable or unwilling to open it for me. She told me it was not open 24 hours. The pool was small which isn't uncommom for a motel in this price range. There was no hot tub however. The pool room was not stocked with towels that night and in the morning either. The workout room looked like it had never been cleaned and there were no towels in there either. There was nothing to wipe down the exercise equipment either so I know it hadn't been cleaned by previous users also. Even in the morning the pool area was still dirty and had not been cleaned. The room were comfortable and the breakfast had a great selection of warm and cold food. They also charged my credit card for the room even though I had already paid through expedia. After 3 phone calls to the motel I am hoping that gets resolved. I would not stay at this motel again. There seem to be quite few other motels in the area I would try first before booking this one.

Pros: staff was helpful
Cons: breakfast eggs were not very good.
Location: clerk at desk in afternoon directed us to a mall only 1/4 mile away----recommended restaurants for us
clerk on duty in afternoon during check was extremely friendly and helpful----------------especially after we had just driven a very long distance.

Average hotel close to interstate

There was nothing fancy. Just an average hotel. Bathroom water in the sink took forever to heat up and then the water would back up in the sink and wouldn't drain. The hair dryer worked for about 10 seconds. There was a lot of noise coming from other rooms with banging and jumping so it was hard to get the baby to sleep. Walls were just really thin apparently. There was nowhere to sit for breakfast because that room was so small and too many people so we just left and went to breakfast somewhere else. Good if your just passing through but don't have high expectations. Close to interstate and a ton of food options in the area but very busy and long waits anywhere you go at least when we went anyway.

Just Okay

Pros: The staff.
Cons: Cleanliness of the pool and rooms.
Location: Lots if stores and restaurants near by. Very busy area.
The staff was very nice and check-in was pleasant. The breakfast options were nice and the woman taking care of breakfast was very sweet. The facilities were dated. My kids were really looking forward to the pool, but it wasn't clean. My kids will swim in anything, and they didn't want to stay in the pool but 10 minutes. Rooms were dated and didn't feel clean. Towels were folded on a dusty shelf under the sink. I picked up a towel that even had a dust bunny stuck to it. Towels were very thin. Overall, the room did it's job for the price, but I wouldn't stay here again.

Breakfast not appealing

Hotel was very nice but the breakfast wasn't. Bread was hard, eggs and ham were processed.....

Expected More From This Chain.

Pros: Breakfast.
Cons: See remarks. Overpriced for what we saw.
We had spent nine nights in motels on this trip, so had something to compare to. Desk clerk was new, we were second person she had checked in, and needed much more training before putting them on the desk. Room was spacious, but seemed neglected. We found an empty plastic pop bottle under the bathroom sink with a used plastic bag with something white in it. Breakfast was a delight. Betty was a friendly manager of that and made one feel they were having breakfast with a favorite aunt. Food was tasty and well displayed.
