We were very pleasantly surprised by this hotel after a bad experience at a different motel.
Our visit was for my Grandson's last high school football game in Westmoreland, TN. We had booked rooms at a motel in Gallatin, TN. We found roaches within minutes of getting into our rooms. EEEEK! If you see one...you know the rest. So we complained. The desk clerk was shocked that I complained. He said everyone has roaches! We left and all crowded into my daughters home that night. Friday we visited the mall in Bowling Green and passed Drury Inn. I got online to check it out, booked a suite for Friday and Saturday nights. After the game, we checked in. WOW! What a pleasant surprise! The next morning's breakfast was more than I expected. The surprises kept coming with the evening free Happy Hour meal, soda and adult drinks (75 cents). Later we all enjoyed the freshly popped popcorn and soda as we watched the world series in our suite. I'm a new Drury Inn Fan. At first glance, it seems more expensive, but for a family...the savings on breakfast alone is worth it.
BTW: The Cubs lost that one but came back to WIN it all! W!
Our stay was Oct 31 weekend, lots of kids at the hotel for a soccer event. The hotel allowed the families to set up "Trick or Treat" in the hallway for the kids. It was very fun! On Saturday we went to a town square in BowlingGreen for a Trick or Treat parade and a local church had trunk or treat. I was very impressed with the friendliness of everyone.
