Quiet with perfect bed, best sleep ever!

Posted Apr 29, 2017
Pros: The hotel was quiet and the staff was courteous and friendly. Everything was clean. The bathroom countertop and shower walls are granite.
Cons: They had someone working breakfast. The scrambled eggs could be better.
Location: Right off the interstate, with shopping, restaurants, gas stations and all of Bowling Green nearby.
Everything was perfect, except the scrambled eggs were too dry. Breakfast was plentiful and fresh with fresh milk and sausage and biscuits with gravy. The bed was so comfortable that I didn't want to leave each morning. There is Greenwood Mall and lots of other shopping nearby. It is in the town of Western Kentucky University. so there are plenty of people to talk to or mingle with. There are lots of great restaurants nearby. Most people are very friendly. The Corvette Plant is there, so you see a lot of Corvettes. Very relaxing! Great get a way!

Average hotel for the price

Bathroom facilities loose, no bars to help in shower, no soap dish in shower. Breakfast menu not inviting. First night in "pet friendly " hotel, not a plus for us.

We stayed at this hotel for a competition at Western Kentucky University. The room that we were initially assigned had debris on the floor in the bathroom and the sleeping area, and the nightstand had a sticky substance on the surface. With that being said, hotel staff reassigned us to another room when I called to let them know. The flooring in the upper level floors is thin - you can hear people walking around easily. The staff was very friendly, though. It wasn't the worst hotel experience I've had, but it certainly wasn't the best either. It was just "ok".

Decent place to stay overnight

Posted Apr 1, 2017
The hotel lobby is nice and updated. The room was clean, bathroom was also nice and clean, updated granite shower and sink area. The beds were not that comfortable, but alright for overnight stay. Thin walls though so you can hear the doors open and shut and people passing by. Price was too high for the size of room. Indoor pool was not warm, but still nice they had one. Free breakfast was a plus and had coffee, juice, milk, basic stuff to get you on your way in the morning. Overall it was a clean place to stay after driving 10 hours.

Nice place to stay

Posted Apr 1, 2017
Pros: decor
Cons: everything was fine
Location: very convenient
The hotel staff was very helpful and friendly! Hotel lobby was very inviting and comfortable. Our room was very clean with all items such as coffee pot, hair drier, microwave, fridge were there as promised. The décor in the room was fun with the pictures of Corvettes, as the the reason for our visit was to go to the Corvette Museum! We were registered to stay two nights but weather problems caused us to be able to stay only one night. The young man at the front desk assured me they only charged me for the one night. I had booked our stay with Expedia and already paid for the two nights. I'm hopping Expedia does refund the money for our second night. La Quinta in Bowling Green was a great place to stay!

Happy camper!

Posted Mar 19, 2017
Pros: We appreciate that our dogs were welcome at no extra cost to be in the room with us.
Cons: The outside area could be cleaned up of the dog droppings and empty beverage containers. There was also a few bits of dog food on the carpet.
Location: The proximity to the freeway we were traveling was excellent. We also enjoyed the restaurant across the street.
This hotel was chock full of amenities that really pleased me. We had 2 dogs with us, and even with having to take care of them we were very comfortable. Breakfast was great. I only wish we could have stayed another day and taken advantage of the indoor pool

Close to Interstate 65 and dog friendly

Posted Mar 12, 2017
Pros: Dog friendly and fast efficient service nice breakfast
Cons: Mentioned above hate having to go through a mine field of dog poops
We liked it but the price was too high for a budget motel . If people with dogs do not pick up , the motel should make checks , there was a lot of dog poops. l
