My husband and I stayed at the hotel this summer and we loved it. It is definitely a little dated but that doesnt bother us. We stayed during the week and there were only a couple of other people there and it was awesome all the privacy that we had. Staff was very nice. Restaurant wasnt opened the days we were there. Really close to Mammoth Cave. Awesome location and view. Will be back when we go through that way again.

Very nice location convenient to mammoth caves park. Property had a restaurant, winery, gun ranges, golf courses, picnic area and none of which were open during our stay. The front desk was unmanned and locked most of the time we were there. The place is in very bad need of updating. It was like walking into the 1960s to 1970s. The cleaning lady was very nice the one day she was there. Rooms had window air conditioners mounted in plywooded windows. For 40-60 dollars per night, it would have been a decent deal, but i dont feel it was worth the 87 per night we paid. I think we would have been better off staying at one of the chain hotels for less money.

The rooms were not like the photo online, but for their lack of aesthetics very comfortable. The online ad at expedia said there would be a balcony and continental breakfast, there was neither. The food was great in the buffet, and the front desk girl Amber was amazing, she made up for any shortfalls. We did have to listen to 2 cooks rudely argue with another guest. They opened the dinner buffet 20 minutes late, and hungry people dropping good money for dinner were frustrated. The winery has 2 wines only, but theres no tastings. Both wines are exceptionally good. We would return again, it is peaceful there. We will just hope not to listen to an unpleasent altercation between the cooks and guests.

The property is outdated but the rate is as much as modern hotels in the area. The beds are thin and cheap. The room did not have a working smoke detector. The website states breakfast included But was told after I checked in that it is not included. I pushed the issue at the office and they provided us with some food. The staff was friendly and the room overall was clean but for the money we paid, we will stay at another hotel next time

As we were driving to the property we received an email that we should find some place to eat before we got there because the restaurant was closed. I dont know whats going on with the place but its a mess. The lobby looked clean but it looks like the place is closed. Out of 100 rooms I think there was 3 couple in the enitre place. Everyone that was walking around carried open carry side arms. There was a shooting range nearby. The lady who checked us in was the only bright spot. The property needs lots of repair and update. Sadly I think it could be very nice. The winery was also not open. The whole place looked like it was closed. Felt like the beginning of a slasher movie.
