Good for a short term stay

Stayed one night The front desk was accommodating to my requests room wise. The room itself was nice enough but the refrigerator, which seems to be a rarity in Red Roof Inn's, was only able to cool my items moderately despite it being on the highest setting. I'm glad nothing I had would spoil. No freezer compartment so you won't be able to keep ice cream. The location is not quite remote, there are fast food and other eating establishments within walking distance. Probably five minutes to get to most of them. Easy in and out for interstate travelers. Lots of parking for truck and trailers. Not enough for cars without using the remote parking for the trucks if the motel is full. The hotel could use some improvements. The notice on the lobby door said the pool is closed for maintenance. That was not a factor for me. At least they let potential customers know before they check in. That is nice of them and keeps people from being checked in, grabbing the kids and pool tubes only to find it dry.
Another Red Roof Inn rarity, so far as I've noticed, is that they have a free breakfast, cold ceral, and rolls, coffee, juice, milk, etc. No hot waffles or eggs, but a breakfast just the same. No other RRI that I've stayed in had a breakfast.
Overall it's not a bad place to stay for short term
