Beautiful Area & Great Attractions in Area.

Posted Aug 30, 2015
Pros: I like the quietness of the rooms and the comfortable beds and pillows. Having the mini refrigerator and the microwave comes in handy for snacks etc.
Cons: It would be nice if the bath towels in the rooms were bigger.
Location: There are several caves to tour and attractions for the children also miniature golf & is a beautiful area & easy to find the attractions.
The Hotel had a game room, indoor pool and excercise room. All of the facilities were clean and in good condition. I just wish that the game room had been open until later. It closes at 8 pm. The continental breakfast was great and more like a full breakfast to me with a Waffle Maker, hot biscuits and gravy and cereal etc. The staff at the front desk was extremely friendly and helpful on finding the attractions in the area.

Hotel near Mammoth Cave

Posted Aug 29, 2015
Pros: It was close to Mammoth Cave.
Cons: Cleaning the room, checking the bathroom, and cleaning the linens on top of the bed as well as the sheets.
Location: Mammoth Cave National Park and local caves, horseback riding, zip lines, and hikes.
The sink only had hot water and the toliet was clogged. My husband fixed the toliet. Linens on the bed were all wrinkled and the carpet was dirty. When asked about restaurants, the staff told me to look in the book in the room. We found a place to eat by looking out the window. The pool had so much chlorine in it, my hand stung after testing the water. Breakfast was terrible. Towels so thing could see through them.

Nice hotel but pool is ridiculously small.

Nice hotel but pool is ridiculously small. Not a whole lot to do around it. Majority of local businesses are closed.

Could have been nice if not for ants!!!

Posted Aug 22, 2015
Pros: Large room, good breakfast, room refrigerators, flat screen TVs, new nice showers, instead of bathtubs.
Cons: Get rid of ants!
Location: Close to and easy off the highway.
The hotel itself is nice. But we woke up in the morning with all our things covered with small ants . It took us an hour to shake everything out everything to make sure we did not take them with us for the ride home. And still, we found a few later in bags in the car... The front desk staff told us that they knew they have a problem with ants, and yet they gave us the room crawling with ants. We were too tired at night to see them (after 12 hour drive). Plus, the room was on the second floor! I wish they cleaned the hotel (or rooms) before accommodating people in them.

Clean and convenient

Posted Aug 12, 2015
New and very clean, breakfast was great, especially that it starts at 5am. Had to sit in the bathroom for better WiFi signal, likely the location of our room. Need a cold water dispenser in the breakfast room to fill my water bottle, unless I had missed it. Great location to see the Mammoth Cave national park. But overall, great place to stay.

Nice, clean hotel, newly updated. Bad beds!

Posted Jul 19, 2015
Cons: I can't stay again due to hard mattresses, but if not for that I'd sure like to.
Location: Very near to Mammoth Cave National Park, which was just excellent, but the Cave City area which is where we stayed seemed very depressed and run down.
Nice hotel, very friendly, and overall very comfortable and clean. Bed was hard as a rock, however. I feel that hotel mattresses should be midway between soft and firm to best accommodate the most people. Thei mattress in our king room was extremely firm and very uncomfortable for me. Bedding was nice with plenty of pillows. Just couldn't handle sleeping on bricks. Complimentary breakfast was a full breakfast bar and was very nice for being all you cared to eat at no cost.

Very Nice hotel close to mammoth cave

Posted Jul 6, 2015
We had a night stay in the hotel and had a very pleasant stay. Even though the rates are a little high, it is worth the money if you are not looking for anything extravagant

Mammoth Cave Tour & Horseback Riding

Posted Jun 30, 2015
Pros: Easy to book room, clean, well cared for facility.
Cons: Breakfast was not good. Coffee stale. Had better quality free breakfasts elsewhere.
Location: Alpine slide, horseback riding, cave tours. A lot of businesses closed presumably due to 2008 economy collapse. Best place to eat is Cracker Barrel!
Very, very clean hotel. Beds were great --- not lumpy! Everything new and well cared for. Staff friendly and helpful. Close to activities.
