Wrong map and misadvertised fees = frustration

FRUSTRATING! Both Hotels.com and google maps has the location of this place wrong, and this resulted in me driving an extra 45 minutes in circles when the whole point of the stay was to get a few hours sleep on an already 20 hour drive...I guess this is not their fault, however, they were aware of it...so that isn't OK...Then, I traveling with 3 dogs, was prepared for the $10 pet fee advertised, but when I arrived, there was a sign stating it was $15 each...again, if your business is internet advertised, that shouldn't happen. The staff WAS very kind and understanding and did help me out with that, as I was pretty mad at that point.

Negative experience

The site advertises for "spa tub", the main reason why we picked this hotel, but when we arrived there we were told that the hotel did not have this facility. We smelled smoke in the room, but no more rooms were available. The air conditioning unit could not be set because the press buttons had holes, but the worst thing was that it stopped working completely after two hours. So did the hair dryer after one minute. The bathroom floor was sticky and dirty and we had to clean it. The hotel is next to a train station and we woke up a few times during the night hearing the train whistle.

GROSS!

Room smelled like mildew, sheets looked used, bare room, everything looked dirty. Room was ridiculously overpriced. Would have been worth $8 not $80! AVOID!

Good for a roadside hotel

This was a brief stay on our way down to Georgia. First of all, GPS doesn't know where the hotel is, so look for the signs right off of 75, don't follow your GPS to downtown Munfordville. The desk staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. I felt very welcomed. The room was fine. I felt like it was a bit dirty, but had nothing concrete to say where it could have been better. In bed, I felt like I was getting bitten, but I found no bites. It could have been all in my head from past experiences in lower priced hotels along the Interstate -OR- perhaps it was just that the sheets weren't super soft so it felt itchy to me.
