The staff need more training in check but his nice and the concierge person fix the problem the following day.no plates for breakfast they apologize which is good enough.we come back and will refer the place.clean and kids friendly

We were a party of 3 adults so we got the two room suite. It fit our needs very well and had a small kitchen to keep our travel food cold. We found the rooms to be very comfortable and really liked the small sugar waffles offered for breakfast.

We needed a room to sleep 6 for a few nights and were pleasantly surprised by our room and stay, especially for the price. The AC in the building wasn't working when we arrived but thankfully the AC in our room was able to keep the room temp tolerable. The breaksfast was wonderful compared to other hotel breakfasts. The attendant was very attentive and the area was kept very clean. (There were many expired milks in the fridge but that was fixed quickly.) The pool area served our kids well and was clean. Hotel towel quality always leaves something to be desired, no different here. There were a few stains on the carpet in our room and the mattress on the fold out couch is in desperate replacing but was fine for our small kids. Our plans changed and we needed to check out a day early and the hotel was accommodating without any hassle.

2 hour wait only to not have a room
I booked through hotels.com, then arrived at hotel to find that my reservation wasn't there. Apparently, hotels.com doesn't send their reservations with much speed. By the time the front desk found our reservation, all rooms were taken. The front desk went above and beyond trying to help us.

Need to inspect rooms better. OK stay overall
The room was very spacious! I was super surprised how spacious it was. The motel was very nice and well kept on the outside and the lobby. I do think they need to clean way better or inspect the rooms. We found a knife from the kitchen stuffed inside the pull out couch (could have easily stabbed one of my kids had we not found it) and there was also a dirty shirt in one of the bedroom closets. Was a tad disturbing. Breakfast was also very picked over they couldn’t keep up with everyone so if you want breakfast I hope your not super hungry.

I was promised a two bedroom with two doubles beds in one room and one double bed in the other bedroom. However, with rooms sold out we were put in a two bedroom with a double bed in each bedroom. The shower curtain was short and above the tub, therefore water would go all over the floor when showering with 2 adults and 4 children. Not happy !

Cleaning of rooms needs some improvement! We had an issue with this six months ago when we stayed at this location, and nothing has changed. The TPS we stay in at Hopkinsville, KY, does not have this issue. Disappointing, to say the least.

The property was beautiful, the hotel is very eye-pleasing. It is a welcoming place to stay. The things I did not like were, no extra bedding or pillows for pull out sofa. Also, under the bed skirts was just plain dirty. This area had wrappers, masks and food all under it.

We heard a regular mechanical sounding noise. It was at least 2x per minute and was constant all the time. The only time we did not hear it was when the air condition we was running. I would have requested a different room but it was late when we checked in. If I had stayed a second night I would request another room.

DO NOT STAY HERE - FRAUDULENT CHARGES!!!
I booked through hotels.com, paid in advance, and thought everything went fine. Then, I found out that I was charged twice for significantly more than I already paid for my stay. I spoke with an employee on the phone, and first she tried to blame hotels.com. She then gave me the runaround about why it happened, but that I should get a refund. I was supposed to get a call from the manager the next day, but that didn't happen. On top of that, I was charged a third time, so I've now been charged almost $600, when TownPlace Suites should have not charged me at all. The only answer I recieved from the manager was, "I'll have to dig deeper and get back to you." I'm not holding my breath on that. I'm hoping that the corporate office can help get my money back.

The rooms had no carpet floors which made us feel better in COVID times. There were lots of places to stow away luggage and things. Sizable shower, ample lighting, easy to access outlets. The kitchenette was perfect size and met our needs. Everything was real on the breakfast spread: the eggs, toppings for the oatmeal, etc. First time staying at a TownPlace and certainly not our last!

Disappointed after years of using this Hotel.
The young lady who checked us in was very nice . We had two rooms. The first room was a king bed with a pull out bed. There were no extra sheets, pillows or blankets and for the pull out bed and the only toilet paper there was a partial roll that was on the holder. The lady at the front was nice and did get the items we needed. The shower in both rooms had not been cleaned. We had to go get shower cleaner and clean the floor of the shower. The dishes in the room were pretty much all dirty. There was food stuck to most of the utinsels and one coffee cup had coffee dried up in the bottom and sides . When we went down for breakfast the next morning the man refilling breakfast was not happy to be working at all . He also had no gloves on and was refilling the utensils touching both ends . Our family has been using this hotel for about 5 yrs every Thanksgiving. We rent 2 to 3 rooms. This is unfortunate but we do not plan to use this hotel next yr.

Disappointing Stay
The attention to detail needs to be improved. There were no extra rolls of toilet paper in the room, and very little left on tne roll, requiring a visit to the front desk within a few hours of check-in. The full length mirrors were dirty and had food covered fingerprints all over them. There were food remnants on the dining table and long black hair left in the bathtub. The appliances had fingerprints left on them as well. The pull out couch should not even be a sleeping option, as it is completely broken down and there was no bedding for it in the room, except for two mattress covers. Very disappointed in the cleanliness of the room this time. Definitely not the norm for TownePlace, as we stay here exclusively when we visit KY.

My new go to hotel chain
I waited approx 10 min for the front desk attendant to arrive from where ever she was. Once she arrived, she was very friendly and helpful. Room was super nice, a small apartment really. Wondering why I have never stayed at a TownePlace before??!! Nothing bad at all. Will definitely be staying at TownePlace in my travels from now on as I can.
