I booked through hotels.com, paid in advance, and thought everything went fine. Then, I found out that I was charged twice for significantly more than I already paid for my stay. I spoke with an employee on the phone, and first she tried to blame hotels.com. She then gave me the runaround about why it happened, but that I should get a refund. I was supposed to get a call from the manager the next day, but that didn't happen. On top of that, I was charged a third time, so I've now been charged almost $600, when TownPlace Suites should have not charged me at all. The only answer I recieved from the manager was, "I'll have to dig deeper and get back to you." I'm not holding my breath on that. I'm hoping that the corporate office can help get my money back.
