The Brookie Cottage
2 bedrooms, 2 large bathrooms, washer dryer. The master bedroom has 1 cozy king sized bed, closet and an en-suite bathroom with large shower. The 2nd bedroom has a bunk bed with a full size mattress on the bottom and twin size on top. The large 2nd bathroom has a shower / tub combo, and a stack washer and dryer.
Wifi, smart TV, full kitchen, off street parking, BBQ grill, and central AIR CONDITIONING! The peninsula seating or dining table is great for working, and there's even a printer at the home for the working travelers use. This darling cabin is perfect for a quick a no-fuss comfortable trip, or month-long home for a traveling nurse or tradesman.
At this convenient location you are seconds from Hwy 89 and Interstate 90 for easy travel to any of the beautiful sites you came to Park County to see! You are a quick 3 minute drive to historic downtown Livingston where you will find local shops, restaurants, galleries, breweries, museums, live music, farmers markets, parks and lots of "community character." 45 minutes from the house you will find yourself in Gardiner ,MT, the northern entrance to Yellowstone National Park. The road that takes you to Gardiner is Hwy 89 and runs along the Yellowstone River for some of the most scenic views you will ever see. You can stop along the way at fishing access points to take in the views, drop a line or visit local eateries, hot springs, bars, shops and more.
If you hop on Interstate 90 and head west, you will find yourself in Bozeman within 25 minutes. A bigger community, bustling with more sites, shops, restaurants, shopping, museums and the home of Montana State University and the bustling Bozeman International Airport.
There is also a detached storage shed for storing extras, should you need it. If you want to bring a pet, you must pay the additional $200 pet fee, disclose your pet PRIOR to arrival, be approved and pick up after your pet and be respectful (of course)!
There is a lock box with key on the front deck. Guests have access to the entire home, off street parking, and large, clean and empty storage shed if needed. We have a propane grill for each of the two cottages, stored in the shed.
We live locally and love helping our guests with any questions, concerns or things that arise. We have a self-check in system with a key box so you can check in and out (during approved hours) without having to meet up with us.
You are in a more commercial part of Livingston. Bordering a convenient grocery store and a quiet and established residential and commerical area of town. You are perfectly central to being able to get on and off the Interstate, Hwy 89 or walk or ride a bike about 2 miles to the historic downtown parts of Livingston.
The neighborhood is safe and even though it is near the highway, the home is very well insulated and quiet inside!
We always recommend a car for getting anywhere in Montana. Livingston is an easily walkable town. There is a bike path that can be walked or riden to get to the historic downtown of Livingston. You are less than 1 hour from Yellowstone National Park, 25 minutes from Bozeman and 45 from the Bozeman Airport.
The Brookie Cottage and Rainbow Cottage are adjacent and can be rented together upon request. They are similar in layout and both sleep 4-5. Please inquire if you would like to rent both for an overall 10% discount for both. These units are pet friendly, pets must be disclosed at booking and a $200 pet fee must be added to your reservation. We will request additional payment for the pet will be made.
