Pleasing

Posted Aug 28, 2015
Cons: Maybe because we stayed more than one night, we had to ask for the room to be cleaned each day and to provide us with clean towels.
Location: Right off I-90 but not noisy and on main road into downtown.
We were in Bozeman for 6 nights for a family wedding and get together. The motel was better than expected and better than the motels we stayed in coming and going from Bozeman. It had a very convenient location. Only drawback was that we had to ask to have the room cleaned and for clean towels. On the first day we saw the maids cleaning the rooms in our hallway when we left and assumed they would clean our room make the beds, provide clean towels, etc. Maybe because we stayed more than one day, they did not provide this service. We quickly learned we had to ask each day for this to be done.

Nice rooms, good breakfast

Ads said continental breakfast, pleased to find hot waffles and biscuits with gravy. Rooms were nice, clean and quiet.

After finding zero vacancies at every single hotel even remotely near Yellowstone NP, I found myself in Bozeman. I have stayed at many Super 's and this was by far the most expensive one, but also probably the nicest. A good clean facilty, laundry area, spacious room, comfy bed. They were on point with the free breakfast! I have found many Super 's to not keep stocked and end up with slim pickins (not the case here). I do feel I overpaid for this room, but I guess high demand during peak season is the reason for the exorbitant rates. I can say the hotel does well try to make up for the higher rate.

Not so great

A little run down. Bed cover was visibly dirty. Halls and stairway reeked of pot. Non smoking room smelled like smoke.

Dirty room.

The room was so dirty we could not stay there. Everything about this hotel was dirty from the lobby to the sheets. Do not book this hotel.

Not as anticipated

I have had excellent experiences at other Super 8 motels. This one fell short. Bed was terrible and key cards had been deactivated when we returned to our rooms late at night. Decor looked like a bunch of leftover misfits. Won't be back.

Nice hotel, however

The is a nice enough motel with a decent breakfast. However, we were booked a handicap room without previous knowledge. My wife and I are quite tall which made the stay a bit hard because of showering, sink height, etc. I mentioned it to one of the office clerks and she was very unaccomadating. Between Expedia and Super 8, they need to work this out upon booking, because the room was not advertised as such!

Check in was quick. Great location for easy access to highway, but not noisy. Nothing fancy but clean. Wasn't there long enough to use any of the facilities. Breakfast had plenty of choices, though room was packed with softball teams and despite ample seating was still cramped. Because of summer hotel prices being near Yellowstone, it was the least expensive I could find. Guessing in another area this wouldn't be so expensive- still seems pricey for an overnight stay. Staff were friendly, and air conditioner worked great which was a plus!! Would definitely recommend if you're looking for a basic room with no frills!
