In town close to fun

Great hotel in the middle of town Staff was very friendly and helpful & rooms are clean Funky, chill environment with 60's motel like rooms Guests hang in eve on patio but quiet hours after 10 are strictly enforced. It's great if you know this going in but not a place for a rowdy party, which we weren't so all good. Great coffee in morning and food truck off patio in afternoon & evening

Great location in Bozeman

Pros: The location and the staff
Location: Downtown location and 1 mile from MSU
The lark is a newer property close to MSU and walkable to all the shops and restaurants in downtown. The staff knows the area well and was always willing to answer any questions. There is coffee available in the morning . They are adding more rooms so phase # 2 is under construction. However, the hotel was very quiet and the construction of phase # 2 did not bother us.

Probably the most pleasant and service-oriented staff we have ever experienced. Very clean, nice accommodations. Super convenient to downtown Bozeman. The only "cons" are these: 1) no coffee-maker, micro or fridge in rooms, and 2) the parking valet service (required) is not the most convenient. But to their credit, the valet service is pretty quick and low-impact. Overall, will definitely make the the hotel of choice whenever visiting Bozeman!

A 1950's era motel refurbished with typical "coolness". Staff are great. But comfort-wise, to me it was a motel. I could hear the footsteps of the lodger above me loud and clear

Great hotel, great location.

Pros: Room design and décor was terrific
Cons: A coffee maker in the room would be nice
Location: Shops and dining are steps away.
We had a wonderful stay at The Lark. Great room design and the location on Main Street in Bozeman can't be beat. All the best shops and restaurants are just steps away on Main.

Dry sparse accommodations

Room storage hard to use. Shelves at floor level and no shelves by bed. No dresser or drawers or closet. Had to use window sill. Bed double when needed king. Bathroom door barn style that would not close all the way. Little space for storage in bathroom. We asked and were granted a room for three but really small and only towels and glasses, etc for two. Even when we asked continued to give for two and we were there for 4 days. However the car guys were always accommodating to get the car whenever we needed it. The desk staff were always friendly.

You gotta try the taco stand out front! Within walking distance of the bars downtown, valet parking.

The Lark was adequate. There was massive construction going on and it was in full swing when we arrived. We were surprised by the noise levels and when we mentioned this to the front desk were reminded that the stay was prepaid, so there was no recourse. Not the best welcome, but we encountered other staff as the stay progressed that made up for our initial interactions. The rooms are small and awkwardly laid out, but decorated by local artists which added a quirky charm. You can't beat the location which is just off main, but be alert that even with out construction the location can be noisy. Each room comes with a sound machine and earplugs!
