Disgusting

We checked out 20 minutes after we checked in because this hotel was awful! There was a question of bed bugs because my daughter felt something biting her as soon as she laid on the bed.

Very Basic Motel

Pros: The bed was comfortable.
Cons: The overall impression of the hotel is that it needs a makeover. I have stayed in other BVI properties, where the rooms were very nice. Not this.
Location: The motel is located in a hotel circle, and there are restaurants within walking distance. Close to the I-75 freeway.
Check in was fast and easy. The reception area was small and run down, which gave a poor but accurate impression of the motel.

Two nights

Insurance adjuster working Hurricane Irma

Pros: Friendliness of owners and staff, location, appearance.
Location: Convenient to I-75, necessities.
I arrived in Bradenton on 9-20-17 to begin my work as a hurricane/disaster insurance adjuster. As is so often the case, it can be very difficult to find accommodations following a disaster. I was fortunately able to find America's Best Value Inn. Although not perfect for my needs, I'm very pleased with my lodging. Due to my extended stay needs, I would prefer a room with a kitchenette, laundry, etc. but these rooms are in short supply following a disaster. That being said, the owners are extremely friendly and helpful. With the exception of one desk clerk (who is surly enough for me to comment on) the staff is outstanding. From one of the owners helping me find a "wash and fold" laundry to the housekeepers patiently and carefully working around my stacks of files and paperwork, everyone is very accommodating and helpful. My air conditioning was making quite a racket and the morning after I reported it, they were there to fix it. The location is great for my purposes as it is convenient to I-75, major thoroughfares, restaurants, etc. The decor is fresh and pleasing. I've extended my stay for another week and by then my company will probably have located a place that is a little more suited for my extended stay needs. But in the meantime, I'm VERY pleased and would suggest America's Best Value Inn to anyone with short stay needs.

Relaxing stay

At first i had trouble with figuring out my reservation and check in but the man at the front desk was very helpful and friendly! Once we got settled in it was time to relax after a hectic day, we had a veiw of the pool and the room was very clean and bed was extra comfy! Would definitely recommend this hotel!

Quick stay

BED BUGS

BED BUGS - do not stay. Hotel claims it was just "bugs" due to the rain. Either way the hotel would not refund for the 3 hours we stayed at the hotel prior to leaving to a cleaner establishment.

With the very heavy rain recently, all properties have had a problem with little bugs getting inside. They were not "bed bugs" as you call them. I hope you enjoy the rest of your Florida trip.

Great bargain

I have a bad back, and the sleep on that bed was a little rough. I needed some extra pillows and was told I could only get three and that I needed to come down to get them myself. Other than that, the room was clean and everything worked to perfection. For the deal we got on Hotels.com, it was totally worth it.
