Hotel needs renovation. Rooms smell bad and mold

My son found some bed bugs in his bed. Rooms smell bad and a lot of mold on the bath tub. Quite rooms . Stay in room 221 and down . Room 219 had bed bugs.Fair breakfast. You really get what you pay.

Staff did a great job handling all the challenges of housing FEMA people, business and vacation travelers. In view of all the issues with having to recover from Hurricane Irma, while at the same time providing for all the homeless/displaced people, They did a good job and seemed to maintain an attitude of calm.

Breakfast area is too small. Had to go out to eat.

Check in and the room were nice. However we did not have any washcloths when we checked in and when housekeeping cleaned our room they only made the beds and did not replenish used towels or give us any washcloths. Also the breakfast area was standing room only so we went out to eat.

Really bad smell

Very pleasant stay.

Cons: Breakfast
Location: Restaurants near by. Beach about a 20 minute drive
I was received with a very warm welcome, A restaurant was suggested for dinner. Check in was quick and easy. Room was clean and updated. Breakfast was ok.s standard, coffee, oj, bagels, muffins, waffle maker, cereals, fruit, eggs and sausage. It was just ok, could use a little improvement. My overall stay was very pleasant.

Everything was as it should be.

Location: Bradenton/Sarasota, Florida. Beautiful Anna Maria Island with white sand.
We asked for a ground floor when we checked in and the manager accommodated us. The fridge was cold. Room clean. AC easily adjusted.
