"Hotel located close to where we needed to be at"
Over all this hotel was a nice hotel to stay at. We like the the room layout. The only thing is when I got up in the morning on my right wrist which had been behind my pillow and near the head board at the edge of the mattress there was a rash like irritation. Upon checking the internet it look like bed bug bites. I mentioned to the front desk but they said that they hadn't had any problems. All I know was in Room 502 there were bed bugs. Hopefully they will get to the bottom of the problem and that we didn't carry any home!!

Pocket Guide: Brandon, Tampa Pet-friendly Hotels

Brandon is a residential suburb that lies east of downtown. Nearby, blue-ribbon agriculture is on display annually at the Florida State Fairgrounds. South of Brandon in Apollo Beach, manatees flock by a waterside power plant when the water temperature cools. The aquatic mammals are best seen at Tampa Electric’s Manatee Viewing Center, which is also a haven for butterflies and birds.
