Nice for the price
Staff was friendly. Check-in was easy although gal was a little confused about the hotel.com process as we did pay at hotel. Breakfast area was very small and food choices minimal. We did find out from the nice lady working on our last day that the hotel was getting ready to close for 4 months for a major renovation. Overall, the hotel was very clean. Bed was comfortable. Staff friendly. Pool area was odd to get to and whirlpool really small. I would stay again for a quick weekend stay.

Always have loved staying here. We have stayed here several times the past 25 years. No TP in the room when we got there but thats the only thing wrong. All else is great

Bad experience
Last year I stayed at this hotel and the experience was excellent! but this year was terrible. I really don't plan to go back. The bed was super uncomfortable, it felt like I was sleeping on a mat because of how old the mattress is. I felt wires in my back. The pillows seemed like a thin fabric, I left with back and neck pain. As for breakfast, last year they had 2 waffle machines, this year they only have 1 and you have to wait like 10 minutes in line to make a waffle. In fact, the staff's attention is excellent! but the hotel is very neglected.

Almost out of date due to upcoming renovations
This hotel is closing in 2 weeks for a complete renovation, so this review will be out of date then. Currently, the beds are kinda hard and the room space is a bit tight. The breakfast is good. The sink did not drain. The staff are friendly and helpful. The pool is huge and the pool & hot tub area are nice.

First night slept hot. Heat wouldn’t kick off. Got maintenance to fix the heater. Comforter was stained. There was an empty box of soap left in the tub. Made us think it wasnt cleaned very well. Had to ask for wash cloths

My biggest complaint is that I was charged for an extra person even though I told the lady at the front desk when checking in that it was only my daughter and I staying. My husband had to stay home last minute because our older child woke up sick. She said she would take the charge off. It was never taken off and when Expedia reached out to them they refused to remove the extra fee. The property itself is older and needs major remodeling. They said they are working on the exterior right now. The interior needs a lot done. The room had years of ware and grime built up. Nothing they could have fixed during our stay.

Good trip. Went to Dolly Stampede and Silver Dollar City. Our 52 nd anniversary of wedding. Had some kid SDC and grand kids with us. Even though demolition and new renovation was beginning it did not bother us.

Pros: The room was clean with exception to the front of bathroom vanity. It hadn't been wiped down in a while. But overall, I was okay with the cleanliness. The bed was really comfy and the room was VERY dark for sleeping. The various staff was friendly and responsive. They do have a dessert time at night, which is a nice touch. Breakfast was typical sausage patties, eggs, biscuits/gravy, waffle maker that guest ALWAYS seem to screw up because they don't spray it before using, cereals, etc.. The best thing we found about this place is the convenience of the location. It is within quick minutes drive to Branson Landing, Sight and Sound and other popular attractions. Facilities are old but updated. (They were painting the exterior when we arrived). Cons: There was a bit of a funky smell upon arrival. But it either went away or we got used to it. One morning we ran out of hot water. Fortunately we weren't on a schedule, so I just waited for it to get hot again. That could have been a bad thing had we been on a schedule. The first couple of nights, the heat/air unit was fine, but when it got really cold outside, the heat never shut off, making the room way too hot for sleeping. (Thermostat must be within the unit just under the window) I finally got up and shut it off, but it was pretty chilly the next morning. Not very good windows. Overall, we were most happy with the location and would probably stay again.

We LOVED the bed...perfectly firm with a perfectly soft and cloudlike top... Water pressure in the shower was astonishing for a hotel property, and there was lots of very hot water. The breakfast included eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy I had the waffle with peanut utter and a large glass of milk... It was very good.

They were renovating parts of the outside so that is good. Also, only complaint was the shower didn’t get hot. It was only warm. Other than that. Love this place.

They had a good breakfast. Our window in the room opened up to a brick wall with no kind of view. It was kinda pointless to even have a window in the room. Employees were nice.

Don’t show up at check-in time & expect a room
We arrived at 3:00 so we would have time to get ready for a 5:00 show we had tickets for, but I was told our two rooms were not ready and they weren’t sure how long it would be but they would call me. One room was ready about 4:00. We didn’t receive a call on the second room until 5:30. No real apology. No offer of any type of compensation from management. I’ve been to numerous hotels and never had to wait that long for a room that was reserved. The sink in our bathroom didn’t have hot water. The jacuzzi tub was nice but very outdated. Luckily it did have hot water. I asked for our rooms to be close. One was on the second floor, the other was on the 4th floor. Our view was the back parking lot. It was convenient to go out the side door to the car. Most likely will never stay again.
