Clean hotel in great location

Overall, this is a clean, comfortable hotel right in the middle of all the action on 76. I was a little disappointed at check-in, however, as I had requested a ground floor room because I was traveling with my handicapped mother. I was told that when booking with a third party, such as Expedia, the staff never sees the requests, therefore, they are not granted. I've booked Expedia hotels for years and have never encountered this problem. The management did send a reply stating that they are working on a new property management system to receive requests and that a large party had previously booked the first floor rooms months ago. The hotel was clean and quiet. We booked a room in the main building with interior hallway and queen beds. The room was spacious, updated, and I especially appreciated the double sinks. The beds were pretty comfortable and the linens were nice. It was very hot outside, so we had to operate the air on high and 64 degrees constantly to keep the room cool. The pool areas were nice and clean. I cannot comment on the breakfast area because it was too crowded each day to get inside the door. In other reviews I've read, this seems to be the norm. Also, our coffee pot was not cleaned and coffee was not replenished each day. We had to go to the front desk twice to get more toilet tissue, because no extra roll was left after cleaning, but the room was cleaned to perfection.
