The hotel was pretty good overall. The pool area is clean and well maintained. The hot tub jets do not work so it's like sitting in a hot bath. The rooms are clean and spacious. If you like a very firm bed then you'll love these. Breakfast was very good. Biscuits and gravy, waffles, eggs, sausage, cereal, the list goes on and on......

When we arrived they only had my reservation for one room, not two even though I had the confirmation email from Expedia showing I reserved two rooms. The place is old and it shows. The pool and hot tub are WHY we booked there and the pool was nice but the Hot Tub was completely torn apart and drained. They never mentioned that when we checked in and were talking about sitting in the hot tub that night :(

I am very sorry that we did not meet your expectations. I have go into our system and I only see one reservation. Once again I am sorry that we did not have a second reservation. Our hot tub and sauna are in the process of being renovated. The whole hotel will be going through a major renovation from top to bottom. We will be doing some throughout the season and then a major part will be done come January 2025. I hope that you will come back and see all the improvements that will be happening.

Breakfast the first day was a little borderline compared to other Best Westerns as the batter for the waffles was thick as cement and almost unusable plus the breakfast burritos seemed like little more than tortillas with sauce smeared on them. The second day was more acceptable. Some of the equipment in the fitness center didn't work quite right. The rest of the hotel was okay but the air seemed a little stuffy and humid. Overall it was okay but not as good as many other Best Westerns.

The staff was very friendly for the most part and the room was decently nice for the price, however; the only thing that i disliked was the fact that checkout was at 9AM (which was completely fine) but before it was even 9AM, it was actually 8:48 AM on the dot, a worker knocked on our door once and then immediately proceeded to open the door without hesitation. Thabkfully we had that extra dead bolt lock on the door because otherwise that staff member would've gottan a front row seat of me completely nude, as i was changing clothes at the time being. I completely understand that it was Christmas eve (12/24/23) and im sure all staff was just in a hurry to get home to loved ones but if check out time is 9 AM, then no one should be knocking on our door, especially trying to open our door before it's even time to check out. Would I stay here at this property again? Yes I would, however though, I would most definitely be mentioning the situation to the staff member while checking in to make it very clear it wasn't okay & won't happen again. 7/10 - & that's on the high side!

I booked a room with a huge jet tub. It was for my kids and it was covered with black mold. Then they closed the pool because the key pad couldn't keep people out. So guest couldn't use it. I reported the mold and they didn't clean it. Also the tub was covered in the guest body hair. Absolutely disgraceful and disgusting. It's very dated and over priced.

Jessica I'm very sorry that you had an issue with your room while you were. We appreciate you letting us know right away of the issue you had. The head housekeeper did go and re-clean your room as soon as you heard there was an issue. Unfortunately the pool was not open due to the door being kicked in from another guest. We do have to keep all guest safety as our number one priority and it will be reopen just as soon as possible.

Loved the sauna, but the hot tub was out. It was the main reason why I picked this hotel over others. That was disappointing. Room was clean. Bed was comfortable. Tv was rather small.

Matthew I'm so very sorry that the hot tub was down while you were here. The part has been replaced and is now up and running. Best Western is upgrading their tv's so at the end of 2024 all tv's in all guest rooms will be 55 inch smart tv's

A nice motel. Clean, not as quiet as other places, convenient for driving, disappointed the hot tub not working, the lady at breakfast was very friendly and helpful, enjoyed her.

The location was very convenient. The breakfast was great and the elderly lady that worked there was very helpful. I enjoyed the quiet area where the hotel was located. I felt safe. The cleaning ladies were very friendly.

The pool is large and nice. The facility is beautiful. The lobby was decked out for Christmas and very cozy and quiet. The problem came when our kiddos took their shower after swimming and the bathtub would not drain. We had to get them out mid-shower and unrinsed because the tub was filling up. We called staff who did respond immediately and was unable to unclog the tub. Then insued a frantic effort to find us another room. We were told the hotel was booked but they had rooms set aside for emergencies. So we thought we would be moved and got our kids into the new room and finishing their shower, while we, the parents, started packing up our stuff. However then we were informed we couldn’t sleep in the new room but only use it for the shower. We could use it whenever we wanted but we couldn’t sleep in the room, which was baffling. We had to threaten the staff to refund us our money before they allowed us to sleep in the emergency room. After that the room was fine and the night was fine. In the morning, the key cards would not work and my daughter was yelled at by staff for going into the breakfast without shoes (which she couldn’t find because I had picked them up and put them in a bag during the transition the night before). My daughter cried. The customer service definitely needs major improvement. We won’t be choosing this hotel to stay at ever again.

Valerie I am so very sorry that you experienced issues while you stayed at our hotel. It was always the expectation for you to move into the new room from the start of your issue. I have spoke to the two associates that you delt with about making sure that they are clear on what needs to happen in issues like this. I'm glad to hear that you did end up in the new room for the night. As for the issue in breakfast, I have spoke with the breakfast attendants to make sure they always talk to the parent and not the child regarding this issue. It is city code to not allow people in the breakfast room without shirts and shoes. We do have to adhere to city code but it could have been handled in a different way as to not upset the child. Thank you for bringing these both to my attention so I could address them right away. We would love to show you that this isn't normal for our hotel so we would love for you to come back and see us again.

The ladies at the desk were very friendly and gave good instructions on our room and where breakfast would be, they were also helpful is showing us where we were and what was around the hotel. The thermostat is the room did not work so I had to use the dial in the unit. The room was very clean, plenty of pillows to choose from and the beds were good. The pool was nice and clean, the hot tub did not have a timer and only one jet worked fully and another partially worked. The breakfast was good, it was nice to have the meat changed and not always the same. There was extra seating in the lobby for overflow during breakfast on the busy days.

The bed was hard. The pillows were extremely hard. Breakfast was terrible.Gravy was cold. Ihave had better breakfast at every Holiday Inn and Hampton Inn that I have ever stayed at. We were charged $25 extra to check in early so that we could change clothes.

Betty I'm so sorry to hear that the bed and pillows were to hard. Bed and pillow softness is definitely a personal preference. The early check in fee is something a guest can either opt into or not. Check in time is anytime after 4pm. Guest who are Best Western Reward Members, with a status of Gold, Platinum, Diamond, or Diamond Select are allowed to check in without any extra fees.
