Convenient to downtown and convention centerPosted Oct 3, 2015
Pros: The location, the breakfast, the employees
Cons: Slow internet, our room was noisy
Location: Walking distance to Branson Landing for shopping and restaurants, the convention center, Dicks 5 & 10 and many other shops and restaurants.
We stayed at the Best Western during my husband's conference in Branson in late September. The room was nicely furnished and in a very convenient location. We walked to the Landing most evenings for dinner and since the weather was nice, my husband walked to the convention center every day. The only complaint we had was that it was noisy in the room. We had a lot of street noise (our room faced Main Street) and were right beside the housekeeping workroom so there were lots of cleaning carts rolled past our door all morning and part of the afternoon. We ran the fan on the A/C unit to cover the noise, which helped. The continental breakfast was very nice including fresh fruit and bottled water. Every single interaction we had with hotel employees was pleasant. In short, we would definitely stay here again. It is a great location and value.

Staff works hard to keep you happyPosted Sep 21, 2015
Pros: Front desk staff
Cons: The smoking laws recently changed, which means that some of the "non-smoking" rooms were recently "smoking" rooms. They may need to remodel those.
Location: Within walking distance of downtown and Branson Landing. Excellent location without having to pay Convention Center prices.
On our first night, we were given a "non-smoking" room that smelled like an ashtray had been dumped on the carpets and rubbed in for good measure. The smell kept me up all night--I finally fell asleep at about 5am. It was that bad! My spouse went down to the front desk to complain, but was told that the hotel was totally booked. So, they couldn't do anything for us the first night. I should also mention that it looked as though the sheets had been slept in--there was dark hair all over our pillows. But, I took one of the pillows down with me the next morning to complain so they could see. They said they'd show it to the Head of Housekeeping and correct the situation. We threatened to cancel our whole stay, which was for 5 nights. And, I was ready to walk regardless of whether we received a refund. But, they asked us to give them another chance and offered us a king suite room. I asked to check it out first. The king suite smelled very fresh. The sheets and everything else was clean as could be. So, we finished our stay at this hotel. We used the gym numerous times. The weight equipment was disappointing (some free weights and a bench would help), but they had an eliptical machine that was just fine for cardio. We appreciated the filtered water in the gym. Overall, because they fixed our situation and made it up to us by upgrading the room, the front desk staff saved our vacation. So, many thanks to them!

First trip to Branson...Posted Sep 14, 2015
The location was fine for us. We walked to the Landing, that was a nice area to shop and have lunch/dinner. Not too close to the strip, which we were fine with. Close enough to the Tanger Outlet mall as well. Breakfast was good as well...would stay here again!

Within Walking Distance to the LandingPosted Aug 31, 2015
The Landing hotels were full. We took a chance on this hotel based on reviews so we could still park and walk for shopping, dining and late night entertainment. The staff could not have been friendlier and room was very spacious. We had a king suite and the price was much cheaper than staying on the Landing. The included hot breakfast tasted much better than it looked and was enough hot options to keep you satisfied until lunch. Two downsides... Not enough outlets conveniently located for charging mobile devices and there was hair in the tub. However, neither of those would keep me from staying there in the future of the Landing is full.

Very clean. Breakfast was very good. Lots of choices. We didn't spend much time in the hotel. Staff was very friendly. In the heart of downtown Brandon.

A nice enough hotelPosted Jul 27, 2015
The location for this hotel is great - within walking distance of Branson Landing without having to deal with the traffic and parking on the Landing. We stayed in a room with the double whirlpool tub - it was very comfortable, and having a fridge and microwave was great. Breakfast at the hotel was adequate but not outstanding (re-constituted eggs, biscuits and generic gravy, sausages, toast, waffles, juice and coffee). The staff was friendly, and we had no problems during our stay.

3 Days / 2 Nights in Branson soloPosted Jul 24, 2015
Pros: The proximity to Historic downtown. The selections for the free breakfast. The discounted rates for areas attractions.
Cons: They could provide a shuttle to the "Strip" Area
Location: Shopping, Restaurants
The staff was VERY knowledgeable about things to do in the area and discounts. There was a shuttle every 15 or 20 minutes to take you to historic downtown Branson (however it strangely did not have a shuttle to the "strip area") The included breakfast included both hot and cold items and was more than adequate. Rooms were clean and quiet. A VERY pleasant stay.

Nice hotel, near convention center & shoppingPosted Jul 16, 2015
Pros: The hotel was clean and comfortable. It provided a hot breakfast and had free parking. The employees were friendly and very helpful.
Cons: I found everything to be very comfortable. It is an older hotel and built on a hill which could be a problem for people who have difficulty walking.
Location: The hotel was very close to the convention center, The Landing, and the older shopping strip.
When checking in, the lady at the desk was so helpful and nice. She arranged a handicapped room for us when she found out I had brought my 93 old mother along and she required a walker/wheelchair. She gave us valuable information as to parking, directions/shortcuts to events, restaurants, etc. She set the tone for our stay. It is an older hotel, but the room was clean, updated, and comfortable. I would recommend dining at the Oak and Grill and The Fish House on the Landing. For a fun time and good lunch, we enjoyed Mel's Hard Luck Diner at Grand Village. If you are into shopping, The Landing, Grand Village, and Dicks 5 and 10 along the older main street were great. We had a great time in Branson even though it rained three out of the four days we stayed here.
