Fabulous resort!

Pros: Cleanliness, staff, private but close to all attractions. The food was fabulous!! The spa and massage was just awesome!
Cons: move check out time to noon
Location: Showboat, all theatres, duck boats, winery tour, restaurants, shopping, zip lining and boat rentals
We spent 7 nights and 8 days at the Chateau and everything about this resort is just top notch! Clean, clean, clean! So comfortable, every staff member was so friendly and welcoming every day. The breakfast buffet every morning was the best we have ever had. The room was just beautiful, comfortable and very clean. All staff members were so helpful and accommodating at all times. Would definitely recommend and book again. Indoor and outdoor pools, super close to the lake and only 10 minutes away from all the shows and highlights. I had a massage and it was just delightful! Great resort for couples and families alike.

Pros: Ambiance.Room. Quiet. Dining. Views.Staff. Cleanliness. Location.
Cons: Nothing I experienced.
Location: Branson area just far enough away, but close to substantial activities in all directions both land and water.
Exceeded all expectations including dining experiences. The views and staff were stellar.

Anniversary weekend

Weekend Away

Great views, lovely staff, very comfortable stay!

Check in was lovely. The bellmen and the front desk clerks were very friendly and helpful. Parking is convenient and free. We had a 1 bedroom suite for the weekend, with a lake view. It was perfect. Even on just the 4th floor, the view was spectacular, and we really enjoyed the size of the room. The bed sheets and pillows were very comfortable. Our room was cleaned daily, and while I think it was excessive for the maids to replace the soap we had at the sink every time they were in there, they were great about replacing the towels we used, and taking out our trash. Relaxing in the library bar each evening with a glass of wine was fun. Breakfast over the weekend in the hotel restaurant offers either a buffet option (for a very reasonable rate), or off the menu. Both options we had while there were well-made and good quality. And, again, the view from the dining room is hard to beat! My only "complaint", if you want to call it that, is that it is very clear that this hotel was built in the 90's. The building colors need updating, and the wallpapers and bed covers need to be changed out. Our room smelled a bit like stale smoke. Fortunately, the weather allowed for us to open both sliding doors we had in the suite, and air it out a bit. I'm sure the furnishings and the wallpaper are partly to blame for that kind of thing. Time to change it out, Chateau! :)

At best a 3 star hotel

Pros: Location was great, bed was comfortable
Cons: Food was below average, bathrooms were underwhelming
Location: Close to silver dollar city and Branson downtown. Good location.
There was nothing particularly wrong with the hotel, however it fell short of being excellent. The room was clean but no amenities befitting its premium positioning. The view of the lake was pretty but the garbage HVAC system for the hotel beneath us created quite the eyesore. The staff was helpful but not exceptional. The hotel's restaurant the biggest disappointment offering a bland if small selection of your most common fare. To sum up. Nothing particularly wrong with the hotel, but certainly not a top dollar establishment. Closer to your mid-range businesses class.
