Disappointing Stay

The overall feel of the resort was very nice, but the overall stay quite disappointing. The stay started down the path of disappointment when the front desk clerk was 90% complete in signing us up for a timeshare presentation with lure of cheap SDC tickets before reveling it was a timeshare presentation along with a follow up phone call as soon as we got to the room to try to convince again, unprofessional and annoying at its best. The room was to our liking however the fine details were askew; shower did not operate appropriately with the upper head completely clogged, our room was not serviced after the first nights stay (with no answer to the front desk after calling), with a child we quickly ran out of towels with no restocking, the sheets and bedding were completely worn and came off the bed several times. However the largest disappointment was having the cleaning crews throwing linens and cleaning supplies at our front door before 7am and creating quite the ruckus. Our overall trip was great, but could have been a lot better if I would have stayed with my gut decision and stayed at the Marriot.

Nice stay, close to everything on Branson strip

The room was clean and the staff were very friendly. The hotel sits on the top of a small mountain top in a beautiful gated campus. Only reason I gave this a 4 out of 5 was the issue we had with our room. The room has the doors connecting two units together in case you wanted access to family staying in the adjoining room. In our case however, the people in the unit next to us, who were not family, liked to wake up and start screaming and banging around at 5AM. Part of this is a design flaw because the doors are hollow and paper thin so every word came right through them. Aside from this it was a nice stay.

Pros: The staff was quick to respond to your needs. Are television picture wouldn't come up and they had someone there within ten minutes to respond and fix. We also were not left towels in our room and they again responded within ten minutes with towels and washcloths.
Cons: What was pictured on the internet is not where we stayed. The main lodge appeared very nice but that isn't where we were , the actual room was ok other than we had someone above us and heard every footstep they made. They didn't appear to be doing anything rowdy above us just walking around in the room but we heard them plainly and they didn't go to sleep till around midnight. The room was ok just old and dated but clean enough. I will be looking for other accommodations other than here next time I am in Branson.

Pros: The location
the grounds were very nice, however our facility that we stayed in was not the greatest. It was ok but not outstanding by any means

Location was good. Restaurant overpriced.

Pros: Location
Cons: Free wifi which is available everywhere else even at drive throughs like McDonalds.
Location: Shopping at Tanger Mall and Branson Meadows. Movie theater at the Meadows.
Chose this one because it said Wi-Fi in room. It was but was $10 a day. Restaurant was overpriced for the food that was served. Servers were very nice. Location to shopping and shows was very good. Availability of even something good to drink after 10pm were non-existent. Won't rent here in the future.

Comfortable bed!

Location: The resort portion offers many amenities. It's a lovely area for walks. Quiet location, but close to all the shows.
The staff was efficient and helpful. The beds were amazing. It's an older, outdated hotel, especially the bathroom. The room was clean, but the bathroom corners were missed. It's in desperate need of a new shower head.

Be Careful!

Pros: The staff were very helpful, the resort itself is very nice.
Cons: Be careful when booking! You will see pictures of the various types of options this resort has to offer. Unfortunately, the pictures don't always tell the true story. I saw pictures of cabins, balconies looking out into nature, covered porches, huge windows looking out into nature, and that's not at all what we got when we booked a 1 bedroom villa. We had the small portion of a two sided condo. Our "Villa" had a very small living room with very small kitchen. There were NO windows in this portion of the villa. If you're claustrophobic, do not rent this Villa. It's like a cave. Then you go into the bedroom and there's a very comfortable king size bed, TV, night stands, but what's missing....the balcony and the view. There is only one very small window looking out into the parking lot. VERY small window. No patio, no balcony, no covered porch, nothing. The bathroom was spacious and updated, but again no window. Overall the pictures I saw did not match what we actually received.

Cons: Our unit
I have stayed at this resort several times. I was a little disappointed in our unit this time. It seemed run down and needed freshening up. Since I had my mother along I asked for a unit with no stairs or steps. We checked in late in the evening and I was given a unit with 23 steps just to get to the front door. We were disappointed this time.

Only booked one night

Check-in took over 35 minutes, they need a better process. They then took us back up to the front desk for yet another packet, told us about a complementary breakfast and a 3 hour seminar. I suppose this was a sales pitch for time share or something, we did not attend. Room was ok but not very clean, no kleenex and no hot water for morning shower. Price quite reasonable but probably would not stay there again.
