Enjoyed our stay! Would definitely stay again! We liked the seasonal decorations and hear it’s spectacular at Christmas.

Big brother is watching

Posted Feb 19, 2018
Pros: Location
Location: This locale is convenient to the center of the entertainment district. It is directly around the corner to the copper roof Tanger Outlet.
This hotel had a good location, just off the main artery through Branson. It is very appealing from the outside, although when your decor is Victorian you never have to update your interior. Lobby was bright, nice breakfast area, nice bed, and clean room. Handicap room had a nice walk in shower and well equipped, but the handicap rooms were located at the very end of the hall. Strange that they weren’t conveniently the first rooms from the entrance. The handicap room was extremely cramped with a huge recliner that takes up a 1/3 of the room. Literally. When we arrived we told the gentleman at reception that we had a dog. Of course we knew we had an additional cost. No problem. Throughout our conversation he obsessed about “big brother” Even pointed out the camera behind him. Uh duh, I can see the cameras. Quite strange. We were put on the bottom floor that accessed from the back side of the hotel. Good to take the dog in and out, but not for the safety of the occupant. This is a hotel...meaning entrance through lobby to inside room entrance. Except the bottom floor has an outside entrance to the floor and each room has a door to a tiny patio that has a full metal fence with no gate between the patio and the grass. This level backs up to a large parking lot and a huge uninhabited land area. Not extremely a safe area at night. Plus the added safety concern with the door to the room to the outside.

In response to your comment here, I was the gentleman who checked you in and I did not obsess over "Big Brother", and if I did, it was meant as a joke, to lighten the mood. As far as the design of our handicap rooms on the first floor, you are probably the first to complain about them, as other guests that have stayed in them actually like them. Honestly putting me down over my comments was not a way to win me over. I'm sorry if you feel that way.

Nice Hotel Buttttt

Posted Feb 6, 2018
Pros: location
Cons: better customer service and real eggs at breakfast
Location: resort area but not good from January to March which is the off season for all events
My first stay at this hotel was nice so I decided to stay there again. This time was not so nice. The bed was very lumpy (thankfully they had 2 beds in the room). I rented for 2 nights and went out the first night to get some dinner and specialty beer for my stay away from home. I came back in the second night hoping to have a nice dinner with a nice beverage only to find that my dinner and beverage was gone. The only thing left in the refrigerator was a bottle of soda. I went down to the lobby to ask where my dinner had when and the staff said they thought I had checked out since there was no luggage. I only had a backpack when I checked in and I always take it with me where ever I go. Makes me wonder if I had left my backpack would it have been there when I came back that evening? Hmmmm

I am sorry for your experience. It was unfortunate that smoke detectors were tripped off but we are fortunate that they are in good order and that no one was hurt. Best wishes

Great hotel on the strip

Posted Dec 17, 2017
Everything about our experience was pleasant. Check in was super easy and quick, the room was nice and clean, breakfast was amazing. We went close to the end and they were still bringing out fresh food and there was plenty of space in the dining room for our party of 10. Overall great experience.

On the Strip.

Posted Dec 8, 2017
Pros: Comfortable room at a reasonable rate. Friendly staff. Free breakfast offers a variety of items.
Cons: Early in the morning, when a lot of people were showering, the water was only luke warm.
Location: Hotel is close to the outlet mall and eating establishments. Shows, min golf, go-carts, etc are nearby.
Keep in mind when you're in Branson, you're in the Ozark hills. This hotel, like many others, is located on the side of a hill. When you pull into the parking lot you're going down hill. There's no rear entrance, so when you leave you pull out onto Hwy 76 (the Strip). We stayed here in early December, so no problem merging into traffic, this will be a different story in the busy summer months. The hotel has a nice lobby, free breakfast in a large dining area and tea & cookies from 2pm to 4pm. They will assist you in obtaining show tickets at a reduced rate. We stayed on the first floor and had no problem with noise, although we do travel with a "noise machine" to help us sleep. Lots of tour groups stay here, so get to the free breakfast at 7am to avoid the morning rush. The hotel has a small indoor pool and a larger outdoor pool. Located on the Strip, the hotel is close to a lot of attractions.

Quiet and peaceful. Beds are getting worn. Not as comfortable as the year before. But still very clean.
