The worst experience.
The worst experience ever i booked a room for 3 and got a room for 2 i talked to the guy there and he couldn t help me. In the room was blazing hot and there ware a lot of insects on the walls and on the bed. In this conditions I left the keys there and got another hotel. I want a refund for my money.

Toilet flooded and no toilet paper for 2 days
The toilet was flooded for 2 days and nobody did anything. Not only I asked them to fix it several times, but they also fail to provide toilet paper. They don't have anyone at the checkin counter, so I had to call several times asking them to do something about it. They always apologised and said that they would do something about it, but nothing happened. The worse hotel we stayed in Romania quite far and very upset with the service. Extremely disappointed with this place, I don't recommend it.

Dear Alvaro,The second you called our front desk, somebody came to your room with toilet paper ( although you had another roll at the bathroom but failed to observe it ) . You said nothing about any flooding only that there was no hot water, problem that had been solved in the following half an hour . We are truly sorry about your perceived experience, but neither one of our front officers has recorded anything about any flooding and neither the clients following your booking.

The room was alright overall and fairly clean, however, the property we stayed at was not the one in the pictures. It was a different location nearby. It's slightly misleading because the property in the pictures looks much better than the one we ended up staying in.

Cozy and central
Friendly staff and very helpful. Large rooms with all the creature features. Near shops and restaurants. Beds were comfortable and plenty of hot water. Nice breakfast at sister hotel nearby All and all a pleasant experience

Good choice
This hotel was well located for my purposes. Staff was helpful. I especially liked a "lounge" area above the second floor where you can heat something for dinner in the microwave and enjoy a nice view of the mountain while you eat there. There is a kitchen on the second floor -- it was nice to be able to heat water for tea, but the downside was that sometimes people congregated there and talked when I would rather have been sleeping...

Very disappointing stay
Very disappointing stay. Booked a suite, but had an issue convincing check in person that we had a suite and not a standard room. Eventually sorted, but VERY disappointing accommodation. Lots of things broken, dreadful wi-fi, rubbish kitchen equipment, uncomfortable furniture, unfriendly staff, overpriced, etc.... Would rather we had not stayed.

Cute building, but you have to walk down the street and around the block a ways to check in. This could have easily been stated in the check in information, but instead is just posted on the door. Check in took almost 30 minutes. Parking is NOT in front of this hotel. Your reserved parking is in front of their other hotel and was not cleared at all of snow and ice. In the room you have pretty white furniture, Very Good Internet, but cheap not padded stained carpet and the Heat is NOT controlled by room. The hallway was heated MUCH Nicer than the rooms. When the room heat was working it was very minimal. Lots of noise can be heard in the room at all hours. The icing on the cake was the cleaning lady barging in 2 hours before check out without even knocking. I was changing... and there was no apology she just left. ~~~Recommended to find different lodging especially in Winter~~~

This was a mini conference type of event. we spent in the hotel two nights. Reception was kind and helpful. Restaurant nice but food too expensive. Breakfast not much choice.

I stayed 3 days with my wife. Things that should be improved, from hotel side: 1-The lobby, at the entrance should be repainted/white washed, it does look worn out, which does not give a good "first impression". 2- the amenities/toiletries- the shower gel was completelly missing, at our request to have it with one of the housekeepers we were just told that"it's missing, 'cause the holder is not working!". to me this is unprofessional. could sinmply give some small soaps that should be found in any residence/hotel amongst the amenities. it is not a big deal, but... Positive feedback - things for which is worth staying in! - large rooms, very warm, I had to take off the heating, very unusual warmth in my room. clean, 2 TV = LCD's with a large variety of programs, good choice.! the area is "packed" with restaurants- very close to the main attraction, the historycal city center! 1.6 km in straight line, very nice for a walk. - the kicthen- this is something of highlight! extremelly well equiped, everything a family might need, glassware/crockey/cutllery, pottery, fridges/ even a place ofr the smokers, with a nice view- very good " heavy" point. Otherwise, as a regular traveller all around the world did not"look for faults", good ratio value for money. Should i have a chance, will return to Ambient group :-) Hope my review is useful of others!

Double charged our CC and found wet towels on the bed!
We arrived in Brasov and had a little trouble finding them. Because the admin building is in different location from where we were staying. (close but still there was no one at the building). Then when we got to the rooms (3 rooms) in one of them there was a wet towel on the bed and the bed was wet. We were tired and did not want to go 3 blocks to the main office at 10pm. Wifi didn’t work either. Then wen we were checking out we wanted to pay with another credit card than what was already on file. The lady was very helpful and did that, only later to find out that I never received credit for the transaction. I filed a dispute with my CC and later got charged again. I hope cheap tickets can issue a refund at some point.

We got the suite, the size of the room was huge and two bathrooms!! Location is perfect! Nice staff and very clean. Comfortable beds! Highly recommend!

Hard to find, wasnt clean.
First of all it was difficult to find. The admin building is on a separate street from where the rooms are. You have to go and get the keys and then go back and check in to your room. We rented 3 rooms. In one of them there were wet towels on the bed and the couple who was in that room couldn't sleep. We were on the road for 10 hours so it was very uncomfortable. Then I pre-paid for the hotel but when we came to the hotel another person wanted to pay, so we did. Later I noticed they never issued a refund. We paid for the hotel 2 times. Would not recommend.

This place is wonderful! Once you are able to find where you check in... Though it's not very handicap accessible, though none of Brasov is... But the room I stayed in was spectacular as it had a bedroom, sitting room and bathroom, all very nice and very clean!

Misleading Pictures...
This hotel is really only a good option if you are having a very short stay on a budget- the room is small, drab, empty, and mildewy. Our sheets were dirty, and it was just overall depressing. Very important: the hotel building itself is UNSTAFFED - you actually have to check in at a different building a few blocks down the road. An extremely unwelcoming first experience... If you're only in for one night and literally just need a place to crash then it's fine, but for anything longer you'll be very disappointed. Upon first look of the room we immediately busted the laptop and booked a very pleasant stay at the lovely Hotel Armatti

Beware that taxi drivers at the train station charge 4 times the going rate ... call the hotel and ask them to send you a taxi instead .....there is a nice shared kitchen available ... there are no grocery stores in the neighborhood, in eastern Europe grocery stores are few and far between but there are pharmacies on every street corner, so you can eat aspirins i suppose..

Overall, a most enjoyable stay. The breakfast was overpriced and food and coffee not hot. The staff was very accommodating and helpful. The wall clothes heater did not work and wet towels left on the floor did not picked up or replaced as you would expect in a hotel.it was very close to city center. I would not hesitate to return.

Avoid this dump
Dusty antiquated furniture, low ceilinged claustrophobia-inducing rooms, poorly lit and totally dated, and not even that inexpensive, my advice is to stay away. Have to point out that the maid staff was very kind, but otherwise there's no concept of customer service. We were unhappy with the room we got and did not get offered to switch except if we paid more. We ended up paying extra to stay at the related pension ambient, but that wasn't much better, again dated and depressing. Avoid at all costs.

Clean room 10 minutes walk from Old Town
Functional affordable room with interesting light kitchen area that is a nice place to sit and enjoy the filter coffee provided. Busy road at front, but our room at the back was quiet. Free parking is at parent hotel a few hundred yards away but it is possible to park nearby to unload. There is remote monitoring with CCTV from parent hotel, but no on site service.
