Thirty-some degrees Celsius outside, no AC on “because it’s not summer yet,” zero way to manage temp or air flow in the room and the single window is padlocked shut. Slept 4 hrs and woke up in a sauna with a headache. I was not even offered a room on a lower floor, so I checked out early. In 20 years of travel around the globe I have NEVER left a reservation early. Ever. It’s a chain hotel so staff seem to care little. Bathroom was dirty and breakfast food mediocre. Would never stay there again and would not recommend.

Typical Ibis within 5 min stroll of the Old Town. Comfy rooms, beds and big shower cubicle. Great variety of breakfast, again, typical continental with a small choice of hot, teas/coffees/juices. All staff were smiley and friendly. Perfect hotel for a short stay in Bratislava.

Cold rooms! I hate forced air AC heating...hard to keep the room at 22 -23 C ...cold Bath room !! Without any bathroom heater !! IF YOU ARE LOOKING WARM HOTEL ROOM IN WINTER STAY AWAY FROM this IBIS !

This property was as described. Breakfast was amazing with a wide variety of foods. The staff was friendly and helpful. It's walking distance to the castle and city center. A couple of minor things we noticed: there were only 2 outlets for the entire room and one was used for the TV (not a big deal, but noticeable) and our TV didn't work, but we were only there for one night so didn't ask about it, possibly an easy fix. Other than that, this was a nice, convenient place to stay.

This hotel is in the perfect location for a city break in Bratislava. Close to the historic centre and the castle as well as the Danube it really couldn't be more convenient. The room was comfortable, the staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. The only minor point about the rooms is that they need a piece of nice artwork on the wall to brighten them up! At the right price, this hotel is a bargain for staying in this fantastic city.

Good experience
Decent room for the price. All that was missing was a kettle for myself. Tv, hair dryer, aircon all good features, and shower was decent. Plugs in our room were a bit out of the way, but overall decent experience, and the location was pretty central.

we got 3 rooms that aced the street in which tram is passing from 0500am and it is very noisy . I tried to change rooms but they say it is not possible. The air condition was not cooling and just noisy . it was warm in the rooms. The parking is not included 18eur/day and one needs to path 2 gates in which my cards did not work.

It is an average hotel. Great location to the old town. Just a few minutes walking distance away. The aircondition is very noisy. A tip here is to let it run on full boost while not in the room and turn it off when you're going to bed.

I loved staying at this hotel while I was in Bratislava. Hotel staff was friendly and kind, and they let me store my suitcase in a locked storage room until my check-in time. The room was very clean. No frills, just simple one bedroom was perfect for a solo traveler like me. Walkable to the castle and the Christmas market in the city center. The breakfast was great, too!

This hotel is located right on the outskirts of the old town of Bratislava and could not be any closer to the sights! The room was spacious, private bathroom with a hairdryer and plenty of towels, and most importantly air conditioning which was vital in the summer heatwave. My boyfriend had an unpleasant experience with a member of staff whilst trying to order a drink at the bar but other than that the staff were friendly enough. Well priced, convenient and comfortable for a sightseeing trip!

Fantastic place to stay for Bratislava city centre, the castle and river. Hotel has everything wanted/needed for a comfortable stay in basic rooms (you know what you’re getting with an IBIS). Breakfast was excellent too and had lots of options. Very reasonably priced, I paid less than £60 per night! Staff are very helpful and speak English fluently, shops close by and no more than 10 minutes to old town or castle in either direction. Taxi to airport was €30 which is very reasonable.
