Dirty hotel & nothing worked.

Posted Jan 12, 2018
Four out of five lamps in room broken. Window didn’t lock. Booked this place due to in hotel bar/restaurant & indoor pool & gym. Found bar/restaurant closed due to roof leaks. Pool concrete broken and crumbling. Unusable. Carpets so worn in main hallways that you can see grid pattern in weave. Staff generally kind. No reimbursement or anything for fact that all was unusable and not functioning. Not to mention cigarette burns on sink of bathroom in non smoking room. Gym equipment all rusty and from the 80’s. Terrible dirty and dated. Stains on sheets. Never again.

Basic with nice touches

Posted Oct 23, 2017 on Orbitz
Pros: They greeted us with fresh apples in the lobby and a "goody bag" of water and granola bars. Cut fresh fruit for breakfast - unusual for chains!
Cons: Place needs new carpets and decorations. Updating all around but still not a bad stay.
Location: Right off of 91 so great for hoping on and off. N.H. state liquor store just over the bridge.
We decided at the last minute to head north to see the foliage. So hotel choices were limited. The place is dated but they are trying hard. Rooms are functional and have everything you need. Safe, microwave, coffee, refrigerator, hair dryer, and iron.

Sorry, wouldn't stay again

Manager and some staff really trying but whole place needs a massive makeover. It is brown, dark and dingy. The pool is all but derelict and looks as if it has been abandoned for a decade, the water though is warm, not that I would dare to get in it. The bed was 'roll together'

Our stay was a vacation in New England to see the foliage colors. The listing was located very well for this.

Will not return.

Pros: The staff was friendly. Good location for Brattleboro.
Cons: Cleanliness!
Hallway carpeting was dirty and the air had a chemical smell like Fabreze. The room carpeting had not been vacuumed. Also had a chemical smell. When I went to get into bed, there was a dirty t-shirt crumpled between the top and bottom sheet..
