What The???

Pros: Breakfast and beach
Cons: Staff control and participation and cleanliness
Would have been a nice stay-great breakfast! Except 1. The entire 3rd floor stunk of weed. All day, all night 2. After my bath the morning of departure I noticed a pile of what had to be poop or throw-up on the toilet base. Something like that can not be overlooked! 3. More importantly I contacted the hotel and received no call back from management. I have a picture of the poop that I sent the staff-you want me to post that-I don't think so...

Nightmare at Oyster Bay

Husband booked hotel room through Expedia. They would not let me check in because the reservations were in my husband's name. Shannon the manager took about 45 minutes to straighten out the miscommunication. The room was outdated and there was black mold in the bathroom and the ironing board too dirty to use...see pic' s. The only positive remarks I have are that the view was lovely from my window and the continental breakfast was good. I would not recommend this hotel.

A decent hotel with a great setting

Pros: The great setting.
Cons: More hot choices at breakfast.
Location: Some nice restaurants nearby; great beach right next to the hotel.
Fabulous setting on the waterfront. Staff were nice and friendly. Hotel room itself was quite large and spacious. Included all the amenities. Would definitely recommend this hotel and will stay here again if passing through the area.

Hotel on a beach

The hotel is on a quiet beach. The room is somewhat outdated, but considered as above average for its cost. It offers nice breakfast.

Charged a $100 deposit! Then never put it back on our card.

We do have a deposit of $100 that can either be used in cash or on the card. It gets authorized on the card, which would should a pending on your bank statement. After you check out and housekeeping clears your room from no damages, the money then gets released back onto your card. Although, every bank is different and it could take up to 30 days upon prepaid credit cards, or 5-7 typically to be returned to your card, there is an alternative way. If you call your bank and ask them to release the hold, or have them call us on a conference call we can provide them with a approved/release code that will have the money back into your bank within 24 hours. As fast as we secure it, we release it. We are sorry this had happened and we hope it doesn't happen again! I hope you enjoyed your stay with us, we enjoyed having you!
