Easy check in. Polite and pleasant clerk and staff. Offered bottle water for my convenience.

Pros: Proximity to venue
Cons: Make sure all appliances and TV are in good working condition. Address cleanliness with staff. Improve breakfast and coffee Reduce highway noise in r
Arrived late in the evening. Toilet seat was soiled and I had to clean it. Bath tub was not very clean, hair and dirt :( Carpet was dirty. TV did was not "programmed" and there was nothing to watch. Called front dest and reported it. Next two days the carpet still looked the same. TV still did not work. Found out Iron was not working properly, kept going off and on as I tried to use it. THe hotel faces the freeway and it is extremely noisy. On top of that we had a group that came in late Friday night and was making a lot of noise until very late at night. Breakfast was OK.

Under Good Managment

Pros: Awesome manager to take a room at the hotel and work 24 hrs to give his staff the holiday off. I believe his wife did the housecleaning.
Cons: Need an elevator and a warm breakfast dish.
Super 8 is one of the hotels in Brenham that's part of our "go-to" chains when we visit. We pulled up very late Thanksgiving eve and the (new) hotel manager was on duty (he took a room at the hotel and gave his staff the holiday off!!). We originally had a 2nd floor room but gave us a 1st floor room since climbing steps near midnight sucks with suitcases. You need an elevator!! Very pleased with the personal attention he gave everyone.

Low price = low expectations

Definitely a terrible experience. The staff are so rude and obviously could care less about the image they put off. I wanted to separate the charges onto 2 cards... and the employee had the audacity to question my request.. literally “why do you not want it all in this card?” Like it’s any of your business! Terrible a low quality stay, I definitely would’ve walked out and ate the cost of the room and got a new one at a different facility had I been able to afford it... DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME!!

Ok to stay

Pros: Cheaper rate and friendly staff
Cons: Improve the outdoor lighting and make sure the floor is mopped , not just swept. As for the ac/heater system just turn it on to heater before winter.
Location: Close to the main road and restaurants
Bathroom floor was dirty, the ac/heater system (window unit) when you turned it to heat the unit had dust on the coil. This caused the unit to smoke witch caused the smoke alarm to go off ! So we didn't use the heater, the temperature got down to 35 dregee . Do to the place was full we just kept the heater off, it was still warm enough. The driveway to turn off the road had no lights so dark that we had trouble finding the main driveway into the place !

Affordable, conveniently located.

Nice, comfortable room within our budget. Pet friendly hotel with serous odor problems in our room. Though reported to staff, no action taken. Would return if we had our dog with us; otherwise, will save more cash before we travel to Brenham again.

My experience was great everything was clean .i liked the table..me and my partner were able to play dominoes..bathroom clean.and breakfast was great.
