Budget Hotel

Posted May 30, 2017 on Hotels
I walked into the room...asked for a different room...and then booked the Courtyard hotel around the corner and politely left...this hotel is more like a 2.1 ...not a 4. It's undergoing renovation but the beds are tiny and rooms are very dark. Could not imagine 2 people sleeping comfortably on the beds in either room. The front dest person was very polite. It was just not a place I could stay. Area is lovely-Maryland Farms...so many better choices at slightly more $.

On business?....avoid surprises...don't stay here!

Nice location but the hotel is a mess. Plus, upon arrival at 5:00 pm they told me that they did not have my room available and referred me to another hotel in the area. While they did pay for the 1st night, the other hotel was dirty and noisy. This place is not well run, disorganized, and ultimately not reliable for those travelling on business. Avoid surprises....don't stay here!.

Very suitable for a short stay. Reasonably priced, good location, ample dining options closeby. Very friendly staff.

Good but Not Great Lodging

Posted May 7, 2017
Pros: Location
Cons: Breakfast.
Location: Off Maryland Way in Brentwood, an upscale neighborhood with lots of trees, ponds, etc. Plenty of shopping and dining places within a mile of so.
The Candlewood Suites in Brentwood is ok but not great lodging. The absence of any breakfast was a big negative; for the price a breakfast should be part of the experience. The kitchen equipment was adequate, although the coffee pot lid was broken. The air/heating unit clanked and whirred loudly all night, so not a great nights sleep. Saving water is green but the shower stream was anemic. The facility is in a great area with plenty of shopping and eateries within a half mile. The staff was very nice and were welcoming. Lodging in the Nashville area is shockingly expensive so be prepared to pay more than you expect.

Area was beautiful, room was not clean but did have freaks him new bed, we strip the sheets before sleeping on the bed. The toilet leaked on the floor from the back. Overall it was a nice room with the kitchen and space.

Clean quick stay

Needed last minute affordable place. Ok for what it was. Older, clean. Nice staff. Unfortunately last room available was near front entrance and was noisy. Overpriced but overall ok to crash.
