Good position, nice Art Deco style in Foyer

Posted Sep 14, 2017
Pros: Position
Cons: Add a restaurant rather than just a breakfast facility
Location: Brest is very dull. Very Dull, It was bombed very extensively in the war and was rebuilt largely in concrete. It has no soul.
We enjoyed the hotel - the position is good and the foyer is an art deco Gem. That said there is no restaurant in the hotel and the room was nothing like as nice as the one in the expedia photo. But the room was still reasonable and airy, the hotel was clean and the staff helpful.

Excellent hotel with real character. My stay coincided with the mid-summers' day music festival and was surprised to see the receptionist later that night playing the squeeze box on stage! A great breakfast, comfortable room and friendly staff. Highly recommended.

Fun in Brest

Posted Jun 16, 2017 on Hotels
The hotel is in a fantastic location, near to shops, sights and excellent restaurants. I had a basic room, as was visiting family who live in Brest, so literally slept there. It was spotless, however it had a faint musty smell and was a bit dated, but the bed was super comfy. The only plug sockets were on a ledge on the dressing table and were very low down, so I had a bit of difficulty with my travel plug, when using my hairdryer. There were no coffee or tea making facilities. I did have a bottle of water in the room on arrival, but it was never replaced

Old but good

Posted Apr 13, 2016
Pros: Ample. Staff is friendly and helpful. It's pretty well located.
Cons: Rooms furnishing, equipment and decoration, this also applies o the common areas.
Location: It's pretty well located at walking distance from most shopping and restaurants.
Minimalist and old rooms; Shower curtain and frigobar are missed.
