The hotel was close to a variety of eating place

The room was very clean, fresh bedding and towels. The setting of the room was comfortable and the staff was pleasant.

Terrible they had bedbugs

They were under going construction and it was noisy after speaking with staff telling them we needed to sleep during the day prior to making reservations. they had people in and out of room several times during day while trying to sleep and then one of the rooms had bedbugs. I would never stay there again

Bare Basics

Hotel would be fine for a one night layover, but for a multi-night stay, I was disappointed. HVAC had limited controls, so it was either too warm or too cold. The mini fridge wouldn't stay fully closed, so had to be careful with the food I brought. Staff was friendly and willing to work with me on changing travel plans.

Cheap and dirty

Bed was not comfortable and bedding had cigarette burns in it. The shower was not very clean.

Not what I was expecting!

Cons: With the exception of the checking in and out process, the overall experience and hotel could be improved.
It was in a bit of a sketchy location. The hotel itself and the rooms in particular haven't been updated in some time. The mattresses were extremely soft. The bathroom was freezing cold. When we tried to sort out the heating/fan system in the room, it was quite inconsistent. No one in our room slept well. While it is somewhat in consequential, there was no remote for the TV and the staff were somewhat ambiguous about this. The breakfast was rather lame and didn't align with the photos posted on Expedia. This will likely be my last stay at a Days Inn

Days Inn Fairmont

It was just an overnight stay as I was traveling through. The cost was advantageous and the location was relatively close to the interstate. This fit the bill for my stay.

Hotel need some TLC. Says free wifi but there isn't. Stains on walls, fridge had bad odor and microwave was in different language.
