3 and a half stars.

The hotel itself is very nice. But the staff needs to learn customer service. Checking in the staff wasn't friendly at all. One of them was even getting rude with a delivery guy. Check out was a lot better. More friendly. The room smelled musky and very unfresh. No refrigerator or microwave even tho it said on Expedia booking that there was one. Holes in the curtains that let the light in. But the beds were very comfy. Bathroom could of been a lot cleaner. Only 3 sets of towels in the room when it was booked for 4 people. Swimming pool was nice but very dark. The first time I stayed here was a much nicer experience maybe because I paid more for the room since it was 2 king size beds. I guess those rooms r better taken care of. I think I'll try another hotel when I'm back in the area in a few weeks.

Recommanded!

Posted Oct 31, 2016
Location: There is nothing to do in the neighborhood. Just a bunch of abandoned buildings.
This hotel is excellent in all aspects. I personally am not a fan of the neighborhood, which the hotel has no control of. But I will for sure stay there again.

Nothing worked and had to be moved to another room

Posted Sep 13, 2016
Upon arrival it was great the room was comfortable but the wifi wasn't working and the tv wasn't working and they knew it and still gave me the room. I checked in at 3pm and couldn't get a time where they said they everything could be fixed so I told them I was leaving the hotel because it's something you'd expect. I was then moved to a different floor where everything was working, but was still upset with all the hassle of what I had to go through calling the front desk every 15 minutes. I also ordered room service and it took 2 and a half hours for it to get to me because they kept going to different rooms to find me. When I clearly said my room and the food was not as warm.

Nice but no drapes?

Posted Sep 12, 2016
Cons: Drapes!
Location: Very close to the train station and Webster arena
Nice hotel, lovely staff. But there were no drapes! I closed the sheers, and tried to pull the drapes on the sides closed-nope. At first thought they were just stuck, or maybe had been taken down for cleaning but not replaced, so used a flashlight to look. There wasn't even any track! This was a 3rd floor room facing a Main Street- how do you not have any drapes?? Slept well until dawn, when blinding light flooded the room. Again, lovely hotel, but take this into consideration

Three day Conference

Posted Sep 11, 2016
When checking in a $50.00 "incidental"fee was to be charged daily! Not too happy about this...the staff member reduced the charge to 20.00, but another guest attending the same conference as me had it reduced to 10.00. Note: no refrigerator in the room with "incidentals". The temperature in the conference rooms was difficult to manage. For the most part the guests in the conference were uncomfortably freezing. The exercise equipment is extremely dated. One treadmill actually stopped moving when stepped on, then moved when placed feet on the outer part of the treadmill. Very dangerous. Only three machines for muscle training. Granted the room is small but free weights would have been an improvement . Tv in fitness room did not work called front desk ... advised someone would repair after returning from a shuttle run, but after 1 hour no one arrived. Bring your own iPhone earbuds etc

Ótima opção na cidade

Posted Sep 10, 2016 on Hotels
Passei uma noite no hotel, não consegui ver muito a cidade, mas o hotel é bem localizado, próximo a arena onde precisava ir. Staff atencioso, possui estacionamento pago logo atrás do hotel com fácil acesso e o quarto muito bom.

Quick one night stay - went to a concert at Webster Bank Arena, close enough to walk there. Neighborhood was sketchy but lots of cops on the road from the arena to the hotel. Did not like lack of dark window shades in the room - sun woke us up too early. And the AC unit compressor kicked in too loudly. Bar was nice after the concert.

Great hotel but a few issues

Posted Sep 7, 2016
Pros: Very clean and attractive hotel. The indoor pool is nice with a great view. Although we didn't use the Martini Bar it looked great.
Cons: Communication of fees and direction in emergency situations.
Location: Nice city view out our window, but not a pedestrian area. we drove to attractions.
I liked the hotel very much-it was clean and comfortable, very pretty inside. We enjoyed the pool and the restaurant amenities. I would recommend and return if the following issues were addressed: 1. Fees/charges: The $50 per night "incidental fee" should be told in advance. Unfair to have that as a surprise charge at check in. The parking is in a separate garage and the desk clerk validated parking. Today the same amount was charged to my credit card. I was NEVER told that would happen. I am very unhappy about that. 2. We called for a mini fridge and were told one was available and would be sent up. We did see one later that evening on a cart by the elevator, not sure if it was intended for our room, but one was never brought to us. 3. at approximately 9:00 a.m. the fire alarm went off. Not one staff member we asked could tell us if it was real, a false alarm, or what we should do. I carried my 3 year old granddaughter down 7 flights of stairs. When we reached the lobby, some guests were waiting outside, some were in the lobby eating breakfast. Still no direction from staff at all as to what we should do or where to go. We finally waited in the lobby with others, and had to ask the firefighters when they were leaving if we could go in. I was in an accessible room and no one asked if assistance was needed. 4. were never told there was a continental breakfast available- found out during the fire alarm. room service is advertised in place of that information.

I loved the bed. Hated the elevators breaking down I don't think I'll be there anytime soon.
