Great, comfortable hotel with pool.Posted Aug 27, 2015
Pros: Cleanliness and swimming pool. Extra pillows in wardrobe along with iron and hairdryer, toiletries in bathroom.
Location: Walk round the side of the hotel and over the river to a number of places to eat/ drink, only stayed for 1 night, but would recommend.
Stayed tues 25th Aug after visiting Cadbury World / Warwick Castle. Decided to book a hotel with a swimming pool as we were travelling with 4 children. Just a short stroll over the river to weatherspoons and other places to eat and drink. Very pleasant evening.

Lovely stayPosted Aug 24, 2015
Room very comfortable. Spa facilities good although showers etc very tired. Just a pity about the jacuzzi 'hoggers' who did not think anyone else would perhaps like a turn!! Staff all great and helpful. Disappointed that the pub was not available for a meal - and our choice was room service or a soul-less room improvised as a dining room. We ate out. However, it is a lovely hotel - would stay again and recommend!

Pleasant Hotel next to Dudley CanalPosted Aug 12, 2015
Pros: The comfort of the room & the friendliness & of the staff.
Cons: Some snacks to go with the tea & coffee in the room.
Location: Please see the experience write up
My husband and I enjoyed a 5 night break recently. We were comfortable and any problems were quickly addressed. It was convenient for the places we wished to visit eg Dudley Zoo, The Black Country Museum & The Severn Valley Steam Railway. The Merry Hill Centre was just across the way and provided a wide variety of well known shops.

Excellent valuePosted Jul 14, 2015
For the price, the best hotel we have stayed in for a long time - clean, comfortable and well appointed. The only negative, which is not really the fault of the hotel, was the disturbing noise from rowdy guests at around two o'clock in the morning.

Copthorne Hotel, Merry Hill, Connoisseur RoomPosted May 18, 2015 on Hotels
Not badly priced but hotel is very tired and in need of a refurb. Bedroom carpet worn. Bathroom functional but shabby, shower curtain well past sell-by date.
