Location is everythinh

Hotel is right on the beach. We go 3 or 4 times a year. Atlantic City is only 10 minute drive. Brigantine is laid back family town. Hotel is older but very clean and nice.

Great AC option

Beautiful views and nice rooms. Short cab ride to Atlantic City. Spacious room with nice pullout couch.

Nice stay

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel very much. It was quiet and comfortable. I liked that it was right on the beach in a quiet town.

Legacy Resort, Brigantine Beach

Pros: Nice location on the beach. Probably better in the summer when the pool and restaurant are open.
My reservation through Expedia was not listed with the hotel, although it was made 3 months prior. Not sure if that is Expedia's fault or Legacy Resort. Fortunately, I called before I left home (even though the printed reservation from Expedia said I didn't have to confirm with hotel, I was glad I did, otherwise I would not have had a room to stay in). Word to the wise...ALWAYS CONFIRM YOUR RESERVATION THROUGH EXPEDIA WITH ANY HOTEL. I was able to get a room, although it took over 20 minutes on the phone to resolve the issue. We were there for Valentine's Day weekend, and the temperatures were bitter cold, which caused the sprinkler system to burst, forcing all guests out of their rooms at 5:30 am on the 15th. Once we were allowed back to our rooms, we were then told we had to pack up immediately and get out by the Fire Department, right into a snow storm. Although it was not the hotel's fault that the temperatures caused the pipes to burst, it was still not a pleasant experience.

Didn't like the welcome I received. The gentleman at the front desk was rude and he seemed like he didn't want to be there.

Nice spot for off season escape.

We stayed here in February. Got a room with view of ocean. Room was spacious clean and adequate. Sofa bed was uncomfortable for actually sitting on as a sofa -- i imagine it gets of lot of use and the cushions were shot. Staff was very friendly and responsive. The location is great - on the beach, walking distance to an italian restaurant as well as a coffee shop/breakfast spot. In season, also ice cream and gift shops etc Since we were here in February, it was also nice and quiet. We could here some people one night through the walls; I don't know how much of an issue that would be during peak season.

Blast from the Past

Oldschool 20's hotel (+) which hasn't been updated since the 60's (-). Rusty tub, rugs puckered up in all rooms. Housekeeping went nuts with the Glade, had to open all windows for an hour before the air was breathable. Pool being closed was a bummer. Other than that no complaints. Bed was comfortable, area great.

Weekend trip. Good value for room. Compared lots and this was best. Still being upgraded, older hotel but fresh paint etc. windows need to be replace soon

The reviews were very accurate. If you enjoy older buildings and architecture, you will enjoy your stay here. Location on the beach is fabulous! The ride into Atlantic City was easy.
