Could be better, could be worse!Posted Sep 18, 2017
Pros: The room was clean.
Cons: Breakfast and customer service.
Location: Brigham City, Utah
Although I've stayed at WORSE hotels, I just want to comment here that I have stayed at SO MUCH BETTER places in the area where this stay was (brigham city and Logan utah) Although the hotel was not booked solid, we were right next to a room with a very loud snoring person that we could hear the entire time! I understand when a hotel is booked solid, but when it's a situation like ours was, it's merely for the convience of the staff. I had to move a light bulb from one lamp to another because there was NO BULB in the socket! The cleanliness of the room was very good. The staff looked like they rolled out of bed 5 min. ago, no happy cheerful faces that's for sure! The breakfast was less than the minimum and very disappointing. for the fruit, they only had apples. I've stayed places where they had real eggs and sausages, variety of fruit and a huge selection of breads, bagels, muffins, etc. If you're looking for a nice continental breakfast, this is NOT the place. And when I say I've stayed other nicer places I am talking about places with equivelant fees, so not places that were way above this price. The pool was closed which they did not tell us in advance. Their customer service does not exist.

Close to freewayPosted Sep 17, 2017
Pros: Very close to the highway and just outside Salt Lake City so prices are lower.
Cons: They need to finish their upgrade
The hotel is quite comfortable but they need to finish with their renovations. The wallpaper has been taken off and their carpet needs to be replaced. We were ther August 18 on our way down to Arizona and we noticed the wallpaper was off the walls. We stayed there on the way home and nothing had changed and that was 3.5 weeks later. other than that the stay was good. We would probably stay again.

Pros: They had rooms available the nights we needed.
Location: The historic site of the Golden Spike.
Check in was quick, room was clean and spacious. Having a microwave and refrigerator was nice. WiFi was useful. Would have liked free premium channels to watch rather than individual charges for watching a movie from HBO, Cinemax... There wasn't anything special to do or see in the area surrounding the hotel for us, but it was within an hour from the Golden Spike which was our destination.

Work tripPosted Jul 14, 2017
Pros: Liked easy access to freeway but still far enough away to not be too noisy.
Cons: A little warm and stuffy. Could improve air conditioners in rooms. Stairways not cleaned in the 2 nights I was there. 2 lights burned out in room.
Location: quaint little town.
Hotel staff is nice. Beds are comfortable. Continental breakfast was ok. Room was pretty quiet considering location to freeway. Pool was not freezing which was nice.

Tired of traveling and ready for a warm shower and comfy bed we stopped at Days in. We slept, showered and were able to start the day fresh with a free breakfast.
