It seems as though a working door and a properly operating door handle are luxuries. I was at 5 doors within the first 5 minutes of my stay and three were inoperable, or just plain broken. The property is showing it's age (peeling wallpaper, very loose carpet, moldings with large gaps/ larger than 1/2", old draperies, very thin paint, etc. And this is supposed to be one of the good hotels in the Denver area? I will say, the staff was friendly and the property is clean and at least my room was free of bugs and offensive smells. So, that's a plus. For the money charged, the value isn't here. Or, maybe it is and Denver is just a hot mess.

The stay wasn’t bad. The hotel could use a good update. HVAC on wall was falling off the wall and to me the mattress was very uncomfortable. It wouldn’t be my first choice but would stay again in a pinch

Checked in for 2 night stay. Check in was great. Front desk was very friendly. Once in my room, there was water on the floor. When I went to grab a towel to mop the the floor the towels were wet. I mentioned this to the front desk only to be told there was new maid service. The beds were uncomfortable and noisy. Any time you rolled over the bed sounded like it was going to fall apart.

We told the person at the front desk that we believed our room was dirty and we did not want to stay in it and we requested another room and he said there’s nothing he could do and the manager would be in in the morning.

Traveling nightmare came true.
This was the worst hotel stay I have had in my lifetime. had a late check in and upon trying to go to bed, I smelled a perfume on 2 pillows. I went down stairs, explained to the night clerk what I smelled. She giggled and provided 2 new pillow case. Went to bed due to exhaustion. I never had mid stay room cleaning. The next evening when I finally got to room again, I decided to pull back sheets and check bed. The top and bottom sheets were BOTH SOILED in multiple spots. Went downstairs, talked to a different night clerk, was told that she didn't have support and could not change the bed. I asked for clean bedding and a follow up call from the manager. As of today, NO CALL BACK.

Vehicle broken into, would not recommend
Stayed here while passing through and our vehicle was broken into. Of course they have no cameras in the parking lot. How hard would it be to have a few cameras? There were no valuables even left in the car and yet some low life still busted the window seal. The front desk could have at least seemed somewhat sympathetic, but all she said was that “this has never happened before.” Yet the police officer said it’s common for hotels around that area (near the interstate) to have this problem.

Unfortunately this Hampton Inn did not offer a quality experience. The beds were cheap and creaked whenever someone moved, the air conditioner would not shut off and was extremely loud, we could easily hear the people in the room above us, and the furniture and carpet were old and obviously worn. We canceled our second night and went to a different hotel. Was very disappointed!

Our room was full of moths. It was pretty disgusting. We have been there for 2 nights and there has no milk for breakfast. The orange juice was barely even orange, they were out of of coffee and eggs on the breakfast bar. They told us it would be awhile for more too be ready. Not good when you have an athlete who needs some protein for a game and no time to have to go somewhere and eat. So be prepared for extra time incase you have to go somewhere for breakfast.

The location is very good for getting around the Brighton area. The property is very neat and easy to park and check in. As for the room, nice size with plenty of space, very clean and the bathroom is large enough. But, there are no usb ports, the dark curtains don’t close all the way, the shower water valve is an experience to control temperature and the bath mat is the size of a small hand towel. For all the space, there are no comfortable chairs besides the office swivel chair. I will be staying here again but will be prepared.

The parking was good as was the breakfast which was in the 8 out of 10 range with a great staff. The problem we encountered was making a reservation for an accessible room with a king-size bed and getting to a room on the 4th floor with two queens. Then we were told they didn't have the room pictured on their website. This is very misleading and we haven't been compensated for this mistake.

So So Stay
Staff was all super helpful and kind, felt that the rooms were pretty basic and almost in need of some maintenance or updates (squeaky tub and bed platforms), used and was happy with the laundry services on site, pool and hot tub were nice, good breakfast choices and space to eat, no recycling available, vending drink machine did not work, several decent restaurants close by, central location in Brighton.
