Convenient and clean

We liked the location of the hotel - east to get to Howell, places in Brighton, and the highway. Our room was clean and stocked with coffee, toiletries, etc. bed and pillows were comfortable. Cleaning staff always got our room cleaned first thing. We liked that it is a small hotel, so not a lot of noise. We didn't use the indoor pool, but I'm sure families would like that. What we didn't like: front desk staff. They NEVER smiled and we stayed 3 nights so this wasn't a situation where we caught someone at a bad moment. I went down one morning to get change for a $20 so we could tip housekeeping. I didn't get a "good morning" or "how can I help you" - in fact, the woman didn't even look up from what she was doing. I asked for change and she said "what do you want?" I told her $5s would be fine, or whatever works for her. She gave me the cash and I smiled and said "thank you very much." She didn't even look up. She was already back to cutting out slips of paper with the new wifi password on them. All she said in response was, "Yep." Not "you're welcome", not "my pleasure", not even a "have a good day". If you are working in the hospitality industry and you can't manage basic things like eye contact and common courtesy then find another job.

Pros: Staff was cordial but spent a lot of time outside smoking

Room flooded from a rain storm handicap shower head kept d Falling off the bracket key card didn't work properly

Pros: Clean, well maintained, good amenities.
Cons: Not having surly clerks up front.
Registration clerk seemed to be operating on automatic. No greeting, no smile, almost no eye contact. We were checking in early, which seemed to displease her. Maybe that's why she gave us a room designed for handicapped guests--without telling us she was doing so. We thus ended up with a room where the beds are much lower to the ground, with other, similar features that, while very appropriate for the handicapped, made the room less comfortable and useful for us.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Easy to get to the hotel as it was right off of 96. I would stay there again.

The hotel is surrounded by numerous restaurants and fun stuffs, close to Main street (River walk) too.

Great review room and comfortable bed. Don't understand why TV is not across from couch but that is a minor point.

Hotel is OK Seems old and bathtub was not in great shape
