Noisy, Noisy Street

Although the hotel staff was very hospitable and gave us a great tip on where to eat, the hotel itself is on a very noisy main road---buses, bar crowd yelling, and horns. If you get a room there and it is cool outside ask for a room away from the main road. There is also no elevator, no place nearby for an early breakfast, and virtually no parking on the street if you have a car and want it close by. We paid 15EU for overnight parking in a garage.

Dear guest, we have sound-proof windows in our rooms. Furthermore we have available inner rooms completly isolated from the street. We think your comment is really exaggerated. We can serve the breakfast in the room with additional cost and there are several "bar" nearby our Hotel. About parking there is a lot FREE space for the nigth in public street just few meters from aour entrance and there are NO HOTELS IN GENOA that offer guarded parking for free. So we do not understand your comment. You simply paid the service you wanted (safe parking).

Convenient to Stazione Brignole in Genova

This hotel is very near Stazione Brignole in Genova, just across the street and down a block. There is no elevator and a winding staircase so if you are carrying heavy luggage, ask for the lowest floor (I think our second floor is considered the first floor in Italy), We had room 10 which is a corner room and larger than the room we had two weeks later. Room 10 was bright orange and had two windows. There is an optional light show set up which is cool. The cabs are just across the street. Although there is a bus to the airport, it did not leave until 5:15 a.m. so we had to take a cab. The cab ride to the airport cost 27 Euro. Unfortunately the hotel charged my credit card ten days in advance of my stay for the room when I had wanted to pay in cash and they did not seem willing to reverse it. The people at the reception were all very friendly. The hotel decor is really quirky as can be seen in the photos. There is no breakfast served or bar, but it is a good place for a quick overnight stay.

Dear guest, thank you for your review about our Hotel. There is no elevator but we have many rooms located at the first floor and the staff is always available to help carrying luggage. About credit card charging your reservation was not-refundable with payment in advance.

Comfortable stay in Genoa

Nice hotel close to restaurants and station

Pros: location and good assistance from staff. Room is big and air condition and bathroom are modern
Cons: lift for luggage?
Location: an interesting market
No lifts, so the owner assisted with suitcases. He is easy going and accommodating. Hotel has good air condition and central to many things.

Bom hotel, mas...

Hotel simples próximo a estação ferroviária. Boas acomodações, limpo e gerente atencioso e educado. Único senão do hotel é terem me cobrado duas vezes a taxa de turismo que paguei no check-in e me cobraram novamente no check-out. Como não haviam me dado recibo no check-in, não tive como deixar de paga-la na saída. Não retornarei mais lá.
