Everything was adequate

Posted Apr 17, 2017 on Lastminute
Staff forgot to advise how everything worked with internet then got annoyed with me for doing it another way, whilst friendly the staff seemed irritated by guests. Which just makes everyone feel uncomfortable.

A quiet place in the city

Posted Apr 17, 2017 on Wotif
Pros: Easy to access from the train station. Great value and quiet. The hotel was self-contained with a full kitchen.
Location: Walking distance to bus and train stations making it convenient to catch the air train from the airport. Nice stroll over to South Bank.
Great location, walking distance to the mall, train and bus stations. Plenty of room in the apartment. Staff were very helpful. Cafes and take away food places nearby.

Nice hotel but couple of problems

Posted Apr 13, 2017 on Wotif
Checkin was fine but got to room and they had forgotten extra bed requested. And renovations started at 9am next door. Reception staff were good

Great hotel right in the city

Posted Apr 13, 2017 on Wotif
Pros: Everything
Cons: It wasn't made clear that we had to book car parking. However, we were directed to a public car park just around the corner.
Location: Right in the heart of the city, handy to everything.
Our one bedroom for 3 people actually had a separate, small 2nd bedroom which was great. The room was more an apartment than a hotel facility, with a separate lounge area and kitchen with dining table. It was large, comfortable and convenient, being right in the city. There are innumerable eating places close by and walking distance to South Bank and the Brisbane Convention Centre where our show was, and also to the museum. Highly recommend. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Good location and room, lacks extras

Posted Mar 26, 2017
Pros: Room size and price were quite good
Cons: Get Foxtel, especially the sport package. If you are there for a weekend it is nice to be able to watch a bit of footy before going out. Parking!!
Location: CBD and bars close by
The location in the CBD was very good and price was great for a Saturday night. With the high number of fulltime residents there is very very limited parking available for visiting guests. There is no Foxtel in the rooms which is pretty much a standard these days so no weekend footy for relaxing to. Parking is available around the corner a few mins away and quite cheap, but bit of a pain if you want to use your car as its pay by entry each time. Probably wouldn't stay again unless I could get parking onsite.

Advised on booking in a wheelchair but the hotel didn't indicate that they had not rooms that are wheelchair friendly until checking in and no disability parking
