Fantastic hotel

This is a great hotel located so close to the heart of the city. Would definitely recommend and will stay again when I'm back in Brisbane

Good overall option

Friendly, well kept hotel, relaxed feel. No desk in room if you have a lot of work to do you'll need to go somewhere. No bathtub either.

work stay

Pros: location
Cons: check bathroom drain
Location: central location easy to get to work from
Nice and central. the room had a funny smell on arrival. Once the aircon kicked in it was ok. It may be related to the bathroom drain. Overall cleanliness of the room was fine. Attached restaurant very handy with good food.

Close and convenient.

Pros: Location, staff and cleanliness.
Cons: Nothing
Location: Club, trains, shopping.
A short walk up the hill from Central Station, the Mantra Terrace Hotel is conveniently placed to most amenities and shopping. The hotel is clean and tidy and well maintain. The hotel staff were very helpful. Nice big bed too. The price was very good.

Nice hotel close to city centre.

Location: City centre shopping. Close to central station.

Refund of $100.00 not clear

Cons: The bank transactions for your refunds must be clear
Reception told me to check with my bank if the $100.00 has been refunded because you cant see it on your on line account. I can see the deductions but I will not be able to see the refund - This is not fair. She simply told me to check with my bank and they cannot do anything about it. I will have to go in a lot of trouble to check with my bank just to ask them if my $100.00 has been refunded ????

Regarding the preauthorization that was taken, this is a standard practice that all hotels undertake in order to guarantee against any incidental charges that guest may incur and protect against financial loss. Although a preauthorization is a non-value transaction it can take between 2 days and anywhere up to 14 days to release back depending on the financial institution of the cardholder. Each bank has a differing policy of pre-auth release times and the hotel does not have any control on when the pre authorization is released as this is controlled solely by your bank and your bank alone. Should guests not wish to use a credit card we are happy to accept a cash bond refundable upon departure instead. This information is displayed across our website for transparency. Convenient location, some room limitations

Cons: Electric kettle instead of too cute coffee maker; position of room safe.
Location: I attended a conference at Southbank, 30 minutes walk. The walking did me good, but steep hills is not for everyone. for couples room too squeezy.
I booked at the cheapest hotel I could find within walkable distance of a conference venue at South-bank, so didn't expect a lot. The room was clean although minimal in size, the bed comfortable. There is poor cupboard space, no suitcase space. The safe is in the bottom of the wardrobe impossible to access without lying down, and you would need a torch to read the instructions. There is a clever coffee making machine beyond me to operate, and anyway I wanted tea, so this should be swapped for an ordinary electric kettle. The TV needed adjusting as to height/width setting. but the price was right, much cheaper than others around.

Walking from central station might be 10min only by uphill, very hard when carrying luggage!

Near Suncorp Stadium

This hotel was one of the closest to Suncorp Stadium. It is about a 25 min walk, but also accessible by public transport. The hotel room with balcony was clean. The bed was comfortable.
